It may not be an apples to apples comparison since it's more of a reality show, but Impractical Jokers has to be in the top 3 for clip shows. We've been going through the series on Max and it seems like there are 3-5 per season.

^ Those are full of outtakes though. Different from a compilation of already-shown jokes.

I think I mentioned it in some other thread - but with only seeing less than half of the Golden Girls episodes, it seemed like almost every episode had a family member/friend/etc. from out of town visiting them.

For shit and giggles (and since I had 3 minutes to kill) I looked on Wikipedia at the episode descriptions and did a search for the word "visit", and based only on the description mentioning that someone came for a visit (and not the girls visiting someone), there were 30 episodes with that story line (10 in the first season!). It's possible there are more episodes which they used a different word than "visit" - but I wasn't going to put the time in for that.

SNL did a great Family Ties clip show sketch when Justine Bateman hosted in the 80s.

^ First time for me seeing Carvey as Michael J. Fox. Good, but I liked Spade's take a little more. Plus, Spade had the balls to do it right in front of Fox when he hosted the show several years later.

Carvey was good as Fox. I liked how he hopped on the kitchen counter. Alex probably only did it a few times, but it felt like he did that a lot.
So perfect that they showed how irrelevant Jennifer was (largely exaggerated) by having her be played by someone who was the definition of irrelevant on SNL.

Cheers stars Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are reuniting for a new podcast and are bringing along a number of their friends.

The pair are to launch Where Everybody Knows Your Name for SiriusXM on June 12.

The series, which has been in development for some time, will feature guests including Eric Andre, Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Laura Dern, Jane Fonda, Simu Liu, Megan Mullally, Conan O’Brien, Nick Offerman, Martin Short and Mary Steenburgen.

Some 30 years after the end of Cheers, the pair will reminisce about their time on the sitcom as well as speak with other celebrities about their lives.

The series is produced by Team Coco with Nick Liao, Adam Sachs, Jeff Ross, and Colin Anderson as exec producers. Harrelson will be involved original music alongside Steenburgen, Antony Genn and John Osborne.

You can listen to the trailer here.

“Though I’ve always dreaded small talk at a cocktail party, I’ve found that it is a genuine privilege to sit down with someone for a deep, uninterrupted conversation. With this podcast, we’ll do just that,” said Danson. “And that I get to do it with Woody, my dear friend of many decades, is the cherry on top of the sundae. Each week, we’ll reflect on our own friendship and careers, and get to the core of the special guests who join us. I can’t wait for you to listen.”

“The best part about doing this podcast is that it’s given me an excuse to hang out with Ted,” added Harrelson. “Sure, we’ll talk with interesting guests, and sure we’ll share some laughs along the way, but the biggest win will be rekindling our romance, I mean friendship, after all this time. And I’m glad listeners will be able to join us for that.”

“Throughout their storied careers, Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson have shown the world that their skill sets extend well beyond any one medium,” added Adam Sachs, SVP of Podcast Content at SiriusXM. “With the launch of Where Everybody Knows Your Name, fans will get to experience a whole new side of these incredible talents through candid, insightful, and always funny conversations with some of today’s most interesting and accomplished people. We couldn’t be any more excited to welcome them to the SiriusXM family, and look forward to sharing what they have in store.”

So a podcast only on Sirius or a Sirius produced podcast available on all platforms?

Excitement level depends on that answer.

Well that's about the laziest art for two A-list actors I've seen. Did someone's teen do it in their first semester design class?

Or he inadvertently chopped off his middle three fingers in a tragic kitchen accident.
