Wow! First ep had my favorite Bruce Hornsby songs that I knew when it was originally on the Backdraft soundtrack. The Show Goes On. This show is so great!

I liked the Hornsby needle drop as well, but the song is originally from his second album "Scenes from the Southside". Hadn't heard it in decades. It holds up!
Great return episode, so cool to come back and just hit the ground running, like seeing old friends again. Ayo Edebiri has such exquisite comedic timing, she's so great.

Plowed through the whole season in two nights. It's got a bit of a different vibe this season, but still damn good.

I feel like I didn’t care about half the supporting cast last season but they have them starring episodes centered around them. Chris Witaske is horribly underused in this show

Episode 2 is solid as well. Loved the REM needle drop. Happy that they’re giving Abby Elliot more to do this year, she’s very gifted.
Was very happy to see the lovely Molly Gordon in this, but whoever wrote this doesn’t know the first thing about Medical training. “Almost a doctor, only 6 more months of ER Residency”? You’re a doctor the moment you graduate medical school, i.e. every minute of residency. And you don’t need to be a physician to know that, just watch early seasons of ER or Gray’s Anatomy.

Just finished up episode 4. I really liked that one.

Just going to post that same thing. Fantastic change-of-pace episode. Directed by Ramy Youssef of all people. Really shows the contrast between a good TV show (Ted Lasso) and a great one (The Bear) when they both pick the same foreign location for a change-of-pace episode. That one was pretty fun, but this one was something special.

As I said before, I wish this show came out once a week so it would dominate the TV zeitgeist more and so that more people would catch on. If it were released weekly, it would extend past the Emmy nominations and I bet it would get a big boost as a result. Think it’s going to pick up a bunch on nominations, but it will be tough sledding with Ted Lasso, Abbott Elementary and Barry.
Anyway, I am trying to savor this run much like I did when I first watched Breaking Bad — limiting myself to just one episode a day so I can savor each one. This one felt special.

Finally able to dive into Season 2. Through two episodes and it is great so far. Molly Gordon and Robert Townsend...plus other announced people... a lot of awesome guest cast additions.

Started watching this last night. I'm on S1 E4. It's got some cool parts but everyone is a dirtbag. Everyone hollering over one another, shit gets old. I will finish it since I'm already invested and the episodes are short.

Season 1 is loud and very stressful. Stick with it. It's worth it.

Totally different tone, totally worked. Loved the more character study and not in your face drama, which was still great in S1. This season just takes to exploring almost each character and make them so endearing. Tremendous show.

Finished this in two nights. Just well written, acted, terrific camera work and great performances. Each subtle in their own way. The cameo laden holiday episode was hysterical. Especially Curtis.

This 6th episode is making me want to bang my head into the wall holy shit. I can't take this chaos.

I will say Stevie's speech at the end made the episode worth it, though.
