I'm kind of excited for season 2 in a few months. Even though I know some of you wanted to throw up in your mouths with the Spencer and Alex cliffhanger

Haha! I have re-watched the 1st season 2 times skipping everything BUT the Spencer and Alex story line. I think Taylor Sheridan made a mistake not making the story a stand-alone.

The big plot development is now Spencer and Alex are on different boats to America.
The closing shot of the series should be Spencer finally getting to the ranch, looking around, and Beth's Bentley pulls in behind him because it feels like it's going to take him 100 years to get there.

Almost a week late, but I finally caught up with the season 2 premiere.
Best part was Cara killing the CGI mountain lion with the shot gun
I think this was planned as a 2 season show, so at the rate they're going, Spencer and Alex will finally be reunited by the series finale in 2 months.
Tim Dalton's character seems to be some sadist. Poor girl.

These multiple storylines spread out all over the place really make it seem like nothing really moves forward.
I hope every episode this season going to end with Helen Mirren blasting a wild animal with her shotgun.

I’m going to ride it out with 5 episodes left, but this show is just bad. This should have been told as a limited series like 1883.
We don’t need an episode that is 2/3 of Alex going through Ellis Island and rabies shots back in Montana.
Ford and Mirren getting a million per episode when they’re barely in them is a sweet gig.

If Alexandra was real she would spend the rest of her life institutionalized after all the trauma she’s had happen the last 3 episodes.
Next week is finale,

I’m getting real Kim Vs. the cougar from 24 Season 2 with all the shit that keeps happening to these people. Ridiculous we’re at the end of S2 and Spencer is still not home. Isn’t there just one episode left?

With the exception of GoT, I dislike shows with different storylines that take forever to converge (if they ever do).

I started to watch the 2nd season this week so that I could slowly make my way to the finale and I binged the show in 2 days. The storyline is kind of ridiculous, but it is so engaging that I couldn't stop watching.

Cara turning into a special forces level sniper was the highlight of the episode, followed closely by Spencer hoping off the moving train.
I know it’s because he’s 82, but Harrison Ford standing stationary on the middle of the platform during the gunfight at the train station cracked me up.
Teonna’s story was probably the most consistently interesting, surprised it ended up having no connection to the Duttons.
No character in television history had a worse final 4 episodes than Alexandra. Would think Spencer would want to move someplace warm since the cold

The finale was plenty stupid, but I liked it anyway. I was just involved in the story and the characters. The conclusion was alright, but it didn't have the impact of 1883 ending. Isabel May as the narrator is a constant reminder of that. The ending of Teonna's voyage was the only one I didn't like.

Man this show turned into a total soap opera. That said, stellar production values and it kept me entertained throughout.

I thought the 2nd season was better than the first, since the storylines were closer together - with the big exception of the Rainwater story - what was the point? I did assume we were getting eight episodes, but the two hr finale was satisfying imo. Good series, could've been shorter but still a worthy installment in the Yellowstone series.

One of them has red hair?
Anyway, there is so much anger and violence towards women that it just was too much.
After the first three eps I was just waiting to see where it was going but nothing in this show went anywhere.
Oh the Hunter and his wife went everywhere, everywhere but to the place he was hoping to.
Pointless violence and no conclusion to anything.

Finally started s2 e1 tonight.
This show is so much violence porn it's just crazy.
Mostly Dalton and whatever he has going on with the woman he keeps in a closet also the rape on the ship, the bare knuckle fight and everything with the native Americans.
I suppose I'll finish this season but with 2-3 years between seasons I doubt I'll care by the time s3 makes it out
