I liked it, they had to address the cancellation and reboot and they got it out of the way in episode one. Looking forward to more.

One thing I noticed is that Fry's voice isn't a perfect match, I'll chalk that up to Billy West's aging.

I thought this was the 8th season of the show that review calls it 11?? I liked the first episode and I've always loved this show more then Groening's others and I hope this revival sticks around longer then the last

It doesn't. I watched the first episode and by the opening credits I was laughing as hard as ever. Thought to myself well this show is back like it never left.

Production vs. Broadcast. Broadcast considers the split seasons of 6/7 as 2 seasons each.

Watched the first ep, lots of good lines and a pretty fun concept. I think they got back into the groove pretty well.

I did notice Fry's voice being slightly different and sometimes Bender's too, but it's been over 20 years at this point.

Honestly, I thought this episode sucked. I was more entertained by the fact that the show was back than any of the jokes that were delivered. Hopefully episode 2 will have that Futurama magic that was absent here.

I didn’t care a little bit about any of the All My Circuits stuff. The rest was funny enough

The second episode was kinda better than the first, but still not particularly good. I wasn't bored this time around but I also didn't laugh once.

I know it's still very early in the season, but I have the sneaking suspicion that this show should have stayed cancelled after the wonderful ending of the previous season.

I've enjoyed the first two episodes, but I felt saddened after the opening of the first, where they undid the wonderful and poignant ending of ten years ago. I'd compare it to Newt dying at the beginning of Alien 3.

I look forward to the rest of this season, but it will be compartmentalized in my mind as being apart from the original series. Sort of like how I don't think of the prequels and sequels when I watch the first three Star Wars.

I like the show but truthfully I’m not sure why another reboot was necessary. It’s already ended a couple of times in ways that were satisfying.

Glad to see some followup from a past episode but not a super strong episode. The winnowing was amusingly horrifying as Futurama does best.

Wow. The third episode has been the worst so far. Thus far the only enjoyment I've gotten out of this revival is watching the opening credits and hearing that catchy theme tune.

Is anyone still watching this show? Just watched episode 9 ("The Prince and the Product") and I have no idea what they're going for. It's pretty bad.

I've been watching it but behind 2 episodes now. It's been enjoyable for me.

Yeah, I’m enjoying it quite a bit. The latest episode was totally out of left field, but I dug it; a unique way to do an anthology episode

The bizarre-anthology structure was great, and took me about half the episode to catch on how cleverly it was being done. Like on top of the car-theme, it also had to be like a segment from a horror anthology And I've never seen this before, having the commerical breaks occur in the middle of segments, instead of each story happen in its own contained block.

I thought the last episode was terrible. By far the worst of the season so far. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised at how good some of the episodes have been. Overall very solid.

good god, I just caught up with that episode and it’s so bad it makes me wonder if the series has always been that bad and I just now
realised it! I’ve thought the new season has been mostly ok but E9 was so disjointed and unfunny that it felt like it was written by ChatGPT or something. Baffling it even got made!

In my opinion the show has been kind of hit and miss since its original cancellation. The first four seasons were really the best to me. It’s felt a bit forced coming back so many times over at this point.

I liked pretty much most of all the new ones so I'm certainly glad to see more coming.
