Whatever opinion you, me, and all the other regular people in the world have about Kim K, she is super famous and super rich, and was married to a genuine superstar rapper. I can only speak from second-hand knowledge, but being friends/friendly with really, really rich people is great.

Speaking of O.J. Simpson, I watched the re-run they showed @ 9:00 PM from 1997 with Brendan Fraser and Bjork. Norm MacDonald did the news, and, jeez, very few of his jokes landed. It was weird and awkward.

The only saving grace for me from last night's show was Halsey. I don't know much about her, and definitely couldn't name one of her songs. But really liked her first performance and even told my friend I loved it's alternative/electronic vibe. Until reading Throwing Copper's comment above, I had no idea Trent and Atticus produced her latest album. So I'll definitely be checking that one out.

Really liked seeing Lindsay Buckingham.

Most of the Kardashian stuff went over my head because I really know nothing about that family and why they're famous, and I plan to keep it that way.

I did like the "Grown Ass Women in the Club" digital short, and it hit home especially for me because I went out to see a band at a club last night, but skipped a social function earlier in the day because I knew there was no way I could do both events in one day at my age.

Yeah, I watched that too...the news segment was cringe level awkwardness....it seemed like a strange choice of an episode to run since he recently died. In the past it seemed like they chose memorable episodes of the personality that was in the news almost like a tribute but this was more like a slap in the face to Norm's memory. Like 'remember how awful he was?' His gay friendship skit at the end with Will Farrell went nowhere either but then again the entire episode was pretty humorless.

I think this was about the time I stopped watching SNL for a few years because I don't remember Jim Breuer at all. His pot skit was horrible. And Cheri Oteri was just like a bad clown show. Wish I had checked to see if they showed who the writers were on that ep....they definitely weren't earning their paycheck. The whole episode was pretty bad with the exception of Bjork.

I was not a big fan of that mid 90's cast even with Ferrell in it though I liked Breuer, Norm on Weekend Update, and Tim Meadows.

What an odd random episode to rerun for no reason. If they wanted to chose an episode in tribute to Norm, they should have done the one he hosted in October 1999, where he did Turd Ferguson. The episode after Fraser/Bjork had Chris Farley as host. It was his last TV appearance.

Jim Breuer opened up for Metallica a couple of years ago. He did some comedy and hosted a pre-show.

And it was even more uncomfortable and cringey than you can possibly imagine.

Fair enough. But in my defense, I don't watch any reality TV either (E! or Bravo). Nor do I know anyone who does. But those damn Kardashians have popped up just about everywhere since they dug themselves out of the gutter for the very first time.

It's not that I never heard of the Kardashians, I think that's just about damn near impossible. But I really know next to nothing about them, who's married or related to what, and what they've done. And despite Count Dooku's efforts here, I'm keeping it that way.

Really, it's not that hard to steer clear of this kind of shit, and stay intentionally ignorant, if it's something you truly don't care about.

I know very little about the Kardashians outside of a few basic facts, but I will be forever impressed how they were able to parlay a boring sex tape of the daughter of a member of O.J. Simpson's legal team with a D-list rapper into a billion dollar empire.

I've never watched the Kardashians reality show, and I don't do social media like twitter or instagram, but I am a sentient American with a TV, so yeah I know stuff about them.

To me, it's like someone saying they don't know who Kobe Bryant is/was because they don't follow basketball. Kobe was bigger than the game. The Kardashians and Jenners are so ubiquitous in popular culture, it goes way beyond "Oh I don't watch that show."
