Since we won't get the next episode until Friday, this gives time to rewatch these first three.

The review I saw recommended to hold off on the series until Ep6 starts. Because that's when it really gets good. But I couldn't resist. And most of my series have finished except for The Staircase, The Baby and Barry.

Not Without My Dolphin
I thought the opening “penis” sequence was don’t simply for shock value. I didn’t find it particularly interesting or worthwhile but I guess it got people talking and I’m guessing that was the goal.
I’m only two episodes in to the new season so far but I’m already getting tired of seeing exploding heads/bodies. Again, it feels like it’s just for shock value.
I am happy that Homelander is in this a lot more. I felt he was underutilized in the first two seasons. I’m glad to se me him taking a more prominent role.

I finally had the time late last night to see the 1st episode.
Wow, that was more bloody and violent than I expected.
Last thing I expected was a termite man to fly into the pee pee hole of some dude to sexually pleasure him and then he sneezes and the whole body explodes.

One thing is for certain, I'm never looking at Ant-Man and The Wasp the same way again...

Maybe it seems like he’s more front-and-center now because he’s interacting a lot more with the main cast (Hughie and Butcher) that it makes him seem like he has a larger role.

Did Butcher really have a conversation with Homelander in his apartment or did Butcher imagine it? I'm confused because one second Homelander was there and the next he was gone. Did Homelander fly away in the blink of an eye or was the chat all in Butcher's head? Also, were we supposed to recognize the kid on the TV who spoke to Butcher?

It just felt like Homelander was more of an ancillary character in the first two seasons. He was the guy that everyone was talking about but wasn’t seen quite as much. You’re right though, he did have his own storylines.

Yep, he had the accent and everything. I also thought it could have been Young Butcher for the same reason.

Definitely was his penis, not anus.
Crazy they got Charlize Theron cameo. Also glad to see Aya Cash was lying about not coming back. Even if it is in the condition she is in..
Anthony Starr is so fucking good. I really feel like he is a psychopath in real life because he is so convincing.

I always feel slightly violated after watching this show
. Good stuff, though. Poor Timothy. So what's the over/under on Soldier Boy still actually being alive? I don't read news/spoilers for this show so if that's already been revealed I didn't know lol.

OK, Hughie deciding he had to have his ARM broken instead of calling in sick to work was some real WTF material. And he’s walking around ten minutes later? What was the point of that?

He said it during the scene. That his boss was already suspicious of him and she would "smell" something was wrong if he tried to call in sick again.

Yeah, I know, but I could think of about 10 different ways he could've gotten off work without having his arm bent nearly double... took me right out of the show and seemed pointlessly gratuitous.
