Sure but since Shane seemed to be the only character waiting at the airport, it would be reasonable to assume it was someone closely connected to him. It’s a little too coincidental to have Shane flying back in the same plane an unrelated guest’s body was being loaded onto (though, not completely out of the realm of possibly, I suppose).

That just leaves Daddario and Molly Shannon. And I still think Daddario is the red herring.

That doesn't really suggest anything to me. The important thing is he's alone and pissed, so the marriage is probably over.

You could try to read something into him going to the window and looking at the body being loaded, but even that is totally circumstantial.

I could be anyone.

I don't really think this is the kind of show where you're expected to try and figure it out. There's been no clues since that first scene. It's not that kind of story.

I may have mis remembered it but I thought the newlyweds were having a shorter stay at the Lotus than the others and were doing a multi legged trip.

They were in HI for a week. Pretty sure that the Mossbachers were staying a week as well. Not sure how long Tanya was planning on staying, but if anything it wouldn't be longer than a week, right?

Oh sure. This definitely isn’t a whodunit. If it was, it would be the worst murder mystery ever since we have literally no clues into who did it.

I’m just having fun trying to guess who dies.

I'm thinking I misremembered what was said anyhow. Ah well, watch it be Kai.

And yeah, it's just something to discuss - which is more than most shows offer

I don’t remember how long they were staying but their next stop was to another exotic locale (I can’t remember where they said) for the second half of the honeymoon.

Since we saw Shane alone and angry in the first scene, I think it’s safe to assume they aren’t continuing on to their next destination.

Kai's entire family is on the Big Island. His body wouldn't be leaving.

I think the plane was going to the Big Island.

It's funny, there's only like four facts we got from that intro scene, and we can't seem to get them straight! We're lucky there weren't any more clues!

They're on the Big Island, aren't they? Kitty is staying at the Mauna Kea, which is on the Big Island, and Armond pointed out that the ocean could be seen on the balcony if you look past the volcano (the other islands have craters, not volcanos).

I'm probably wrong then. I don't know any Hawaii geography.

Tonight’s the night it comes to an end. Curious to find out who got killed.

This has been a fun and interesting series. Glad there might be a Season 2.

Whatever happened to the woman who had a baby in the first ep? She hasn't been mentioned since.

Technically she was mentioned in the second episode. She hasn't been seen since though.

Natasha Rothwell deserves an Emmy just for her face during the scene when Rachel was talking about her marriage in the hotel room.

Plop got plopped.

Well, if you enjoyed that series, good for you. I think it was a total waste of time. I would never recommend it, even though it is just six hours.

It was taking a vacation with people you hate with all the temporary self-contained drama, I enjoyed it though the end could have been a little more satisfying.

I think you’re being charitable.

the show was pretty good for the most part, but the final episode went from shitty to whatever is worse than shitty.

this was a lousy finale. The payoff was awful. I’m disappointed.

I was hoping for comeuppance across the board but figured we wouldn't be getting that at any point. They just deescalated too much of what had been ramping up.

Yeah, I liked the show but that ending was deeply unsatisfying, especially Rachel's story.

And there are certain things that any viewing public can extrapolate from context and don't need to be shown. That episode definitely contained one of them.
