WTF? I’m not sure what that ending was supposed to mean. Was that the original Wells being brought back from the dead?

So original wells is alive now. He is sure going to have a lot of questions and will have no idea who anyone is.

Original Wells has no idea who Team Flash is or anything that's going on. So I guess the showrunner was right that Cavanaugh isn't completely out of the picture.

Supposedly next week is the end of this Eva mirrorverse arc.

Hasn't the original wells been dead for around 20 years now? Reverse-Flash killed him when he got stuck in time when Berry was a kid so original wells is going to have a LOT of questions. Figured Wells was not gone for good as he never is. (Curious what they will do with the new old Wells)

It feels like whatever time changes have happened and the disappearance/death of the Speed Force prevented Reverse Flash from killing Wells, so the original/real one from Earth 1 is back alive. Like it was mentioned above, he has no idea of Team Flash or the last 10-20 years. And he may be even be the real owner of Star Labs.

^Grant Gustin is not a very good actor. He has enough charisma normally that it is not that big a deal on a show like this, but when he has to act outside his comfort zone it really stands out.

Good. Maybe he’ll finally put a work order in to fix the building.

Barry’s spent a huge chunk of his money. Most recently he paid millions to Sherloc to identify Cicade.

I'd agree with you on that. These last couple of episodes made that abundantly clear.

I just caught up on the last two. I'm really ready for this mirror thing to be over with. The show is really dragging right now. And I was actually looking forward to seeing the show finally move on from the Wells character. The actor is fine, but the character served its purpose a long time ago. I guess that wasn't to be.

And I think the loss of Ralph was really felt. I thought he was one of those fairly rare times that a new character actually worked and ended up adding something to the show.

They missed a perfect opportunity to call back to The Thinker, and appeal to Barry that his speed thinking is turning him into a carbon copy of his old vaillain.

Agreed. This was especially noticeable in the episode that was missing Cisco and Caitlin.

Agreed as well. I can't believe that this was supposed to be the season ending arc last season.

I actually liked a few of the Wells iterations, but I am ready for it to be done. I really like Tom Cavanaugh, but it has gone on long enough. As to Ralph, I agree that the loss is really felt. I tuned in to the first episode of the season and didn't know who half the characters were and was wondering where Ralph was. I still don't really care who the two new members of Team Flash are, and was anxiously waiting for Cisco and Caitlin's return. With Joe seemingly taking a back seat, the characters on this show every week that I actually care about are getting fewer and fewer.

If Cisco is still going to go out into the field, then why did he give up his superpowers.

Re: The Flash (CW) -- Season 7 -- Premieres 3/2/21

After all that build up last season and the first few episodes of this season and at last we have the final showdown between team Flash and Eva the "Mirror Monarch" and the resolution is basically that Iris says, "Eva, you don't want to do this," and Eva--who has been a stone-cold heartless bitch this entire time and is basically on the verge of victory--says, "Okay, never mind then." I mean, WTF?

Yeah, that was severely underwhelming. Actually, it was downright cringe worthy at times. That storyline did not need to be as long as it did. And the way they wrapped up Ralph's storyline was beyond ridiculous. Did they really just pull a Poochie on us?

They could Poochie out about half the cast, and I wouldn't mind.

Re: The Flash (CW) -- Season 7 -- Premieres 3/2/21

This whole season was really bad. Between the bad writing, the forgettable main villain, the issue with the actor playing Ralph, Panabaker being pregnant, the guy playing Wally not wanting to be on the show, Cisco not wanting to be on the show, the new characters and the Pandemic, it gave us one of the worst seasons in recent memory. Also, the fact that Flash’s big bad and the big twist was given away during the first season, it basically kills a lot of the interesting aspects of the main character. I have said it before, but it bears repeating, Candace Patton is a horrible actress. She has no charm, no charisma and 0 chemistry with Gustin.

They need to fix a lot of things on the show, but the first part is giving Cisco his powers back, recasting Elongated Man, and fazing out some of the side characters

Re: The Flash (CW) -- Season 7 -- Premieres 3/2/21

Anyone have a clue what the credits scene means? We see lights of 4 colors (some which are the same as the colors of the lightning speedsters generate) emanate out from Star Labs and into the city. Maybe that leads into whatever Godspeed story has been in the works since pre-Covid.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Bart/Impulse and/or a Thawne return soon.
