13 episode third season. The first 3 episodes will be available on 6/5/19, then will be released weekly.

Last season was pretty intense, and I'm looking forward to see what's next. But I'll likely wait till all the episodes are available. Playing the week-to-week waiting game feels so old school now.

I've knocked out the first 3 episodes that were released. Good stuff as always. Really annoyed at Hulu's policy to release one episode a week going forward.

Gonna wait for it to show up on Amazon, which will likely be like 5 weeks behind as that was what it was before with Season 2.

I watch through the PC onto the bigscreen.... and Hulu gives an abysmal 64kbps 2ch AAC audio, while Amazon offers 640kbps 6ch E-AC3. So it's a massive difference in sound quality. I've heard Hulu offers better quality audio through certain devices, but I don't have them and never tried setting it up through my PS4.

I'll wait until S3 is over and just do what I'm doing now for S1-S2, get a month of CraveTV and watch everything HBO I need to watch. It's great stuff though, I have 3 episodes left on S2.

I'm finally caught up. Binged season 2 and 3 (11 episodes)

Finished this last night. The final two episodes had me nervous the whole time. I was certain everything was going to go sideways for June. Bring on Season 4.

I recently binged the series and frankly found the plotline and execution thereof to be ludicrous.

Just caught up on this myself. I agree the final episode was pushing hard on plausibility but the show has done such a good job of keeping the mystery of Gilead and how it works we really have no idea how realistic anything that happens could be.

I too hope this is the last season we get without seeing the endgame in sight. We don't need another Walking Dead that overstays its welcome. This show needs to get to showing us how Gilead collapses and June is triumphant.

Altho given the recent comments by the show runner about segueing into Margaret Atwood's new sequel book, perhaps that resolution of the storyline was never a possibility. For myself, I don't think I would continue watching the show knowing that it will just continue on every season as 'tragedy-porn' showing life in Gilead getting progressively more miserable. I think most of us are watching hoping that at some point June is going to somehow win. Hopefully we get some glimpse of where things are headed next season.

Did anyone else get a major negative vibe when they started talking about Nick and his past and showing his in Chicago. Im starting to think he is going to turn out to be some evil bastard who has been playing June and using her to get info on her resistance efforts.

They were filming in town about a month ago. I didn't get the chance to see them, as it was during the day. I didn't hear who was on location.

Good to hear they're already renewed. Hopefully it won't be a huge gap between S4 and S5.

I like this show but it seems like a show that needs to move to an ending point. I think they will need to mix things up to keep it from just becoming sort of circular.

Last season was a mess IMO. I’ll try it but not high hopes.

I have seen every episode and they have hinted at the use of nuclear weapons in the coup, but I would like to see them delve deeper into that. First 4 episodes were interesting enough.



The wife and I just started this series last night (S1E1)... it was depressing, to say the least. I'm not 100% sure I can take 40 episodes of something so goddam heavy. Is this show literally 4 seasons of watching the protagonist be miserable and deal with gut-wrenching topics? I'd like to know what I'm getting myself in to so I can mentally prepare (and no, I'm not familiar with the book although my wife is).

Yes.

The answer is yes, though the series gives you just enough good things to not totally overwhelm. But it is a somewhat brutal watch. Still very very good and often thought provoking television.
