Of all the continuity mishaps to bemoan, the loss of Wanda's terrible accent is pretty darn far down on the list.

It’s been confirmed that Black Widow helped Wanda lose her accent so that she could blend in society while her & Vision were fugitives prior to Infinity War. We’ve heard Wanda’s real accent twice so far with “Vision, help him” and “No”.

I guess this is info I should have while I watch....where in the timeline does this take place? I assumed just "before IW/EG" but now I don't know if even that is correct.

Don't know if anyone else has notice but the commercials for this show running right now on TV are showing much more action that what we've gotten in the first 2 episodes. It's almost like they are fighting the negative reaction of those that feel the show is too slow and devoid of any action.

Well there is supposed to much more action in the later half of the season. Originally Posted by Red Hood

I know, but it seems that a lot of people have been turned off by the first 2 episodes lacking action and focusing on the classic sitcom setting. We live in an era where a lot of people have this short attention span, so the ads are enticing all these people that seem to quit the show already.Originally Posted by Deftones

Hmm. A trailer or advertisement making something seem more action packed than it might be or focusing more on action? Shocking. Unprecedented. You're right; this ad is surely a mea culpa by Marvel targeting just those people. Originally Posted by Red Hood

Looks like those people are gonna be a little lost when they find out WandaVision leads right into Multiverse of Madness. That’s on them!Originally Posted by Red Hood

They've been running the same ads since well before the premiere.Originally Posted by Red Hood

What's wrong with people nowadays? People's attention spans are so terrible now. Even in here with that one poster that couldn't get through one single 30 minute episode to give the show a chance. That's just ridiculous. Especially since this show in particular has so much history and the Marvel name so you're guaranteed to know that they are building into something bigger. Then people complain that Hollywood doesn't take chances or try new things anymore? I can hardly blame them when the audience is so obtuse.Originally Posted by Red Hood

I think the real problem is, a lot of people have been burn with these type of shows in the past. I invested a lot of time into watching X-Files or Lost and the shows didn't end with a satisfying or logical finish. WandaVision just has the feel of a show that will leave you lost in a maze and no explanations about what is really going on.Originally Posted by tanman

Much like the comic book version of Wanda...and Vision for that matter.Originally Posted by ddrknghtrtns

I don't mind a slow burn and I try hard to give shows and movies a chance to get going and set things up. I thought that was fine for one episode. But for two? With almost no hint of the real plot, just a few tiny tidbits. I am still interested to find out where it's going, but man I was bored by the second episode.

It's going to have to change gears soon. About the only "TV" thing we haven't seen from the trailers is the halloween stuff. The illusion of happy suburbian life is starting to break. Was Geraldine breaking character when she brought up Ultron, or did the mention of Pietro bring up a repressed memory? Originally Posted by Xander

I have enough confidence in the MCU to not leave us hanging with no resolution. Or if they do, it'll be a cliffhanger for the next Dr. Strange movie. I'm also not worried about slapdash nonsense like the end of Lost. Be patient, it'll all mean something in the end.
