Matt Berry voicing the Mr. Handy robot in episode 4 was a great choice.
Didn't even notice the BoS story was absent this episode.

Completely happy with how this turned out. I wouldn't consider myself a Fallout diehard. I really only enjoyed Fallout 3 and New Vegas. However, the environment, the vibe, the music, the acting, everything just felt spot on.

Finished this one last night... really liked it too. I've never played the games and knew next to nothing about the storyline outside of the trailers. Blown away with this series, and looking forward to another season.
And off topic, but that Maximus character looks exactly like Jonathan Majors (less the muscular build).

Really enjoyed this, though I felt the BoS was the least interesting plot. I feel like I missed something, though:

I hope they include the Railroad in season 2 - that was my favorite faction (even though I went with the institute because I thought I'd get the good ending and thought it was the right thing to do lol).

Finished up the season last night, and we thought it was great. I've played all of the Bethesda games, while my wife only has a passing knowledge of some things. It was interesting that they finally explained who dropped the first bombs.
As far as the Brotherhood of Steel, I never cared for that faction much. Pretty much just used them to get the power armor on the rare times I needed a set to get through something.

Great series - finished it last night and absolutely loved it.
I must admit that I was very skeptical about this when I saw the trailer. I was not happy that the main character was a girl - I didn't want another show with yet another "girl boss" who has to show everyone how it is done and the story lectures the audience about the evils of modern society, the environment, and gender/ race... I am so glad they didn't go in that direction.
Ella Purnell played it perfectly from Naive vault dweller and her character grew throughout the story arch. It was the right choice to have this a girl, as she is very vulnerable out there in the waste land and you are genuinely rooting for her to succeed.
The Goul was great and I couldn't believe I was rooting for him in later episodes.
Maximums was very well acted and story was developed as well - So glad we didn't get a rehash of the Rey and Finn in dynamic from Star wars in this series. I felt for him and asked myself a few times 'what would I do if I was in his position.'
Looking forward to season 2.

Maximus is the equivalent to Carl
I know pretty much nothing about the game. Never played. But this show made it so it doesn't really matter (took to Fallout wiki after) and I cant wait for S2

I wish this show had been weekly. There won't be much discourse about it until it returns and what little there is now will die off in a few months.
Did Amazon not have faith in this show? Don't they usual do weekly? i.e. The Boys, Rings of Power, etc..

Yeah it's been 2 (Rings of Power) or 3 (The Boys) to start then weekly with Amazon.
I actually enjoyed binging it... not many shows pull me in that quick these days.

Fuck the weekly. I've already watched it twice all the way through. It's one of the best series of the year.

Binging this show on my flights this weekend helped me finish it. I don’t mind weekly series, but single dropped season are welcomed.

Finished it.
To be honest it was just...Ok when I finished it I just shrugged that is it? No Deathclaws or Super Mutants? WTF?
Walton Goggins stole every scene he was in and that was fantastic. I really expected more "interaction". Not really much happened. They did a lot of waking and should have encountered lots of stuff along the way. I get it was probably planned for more than one season and this was building that world but meh. I wanted more I guess.
Makes me want to play the game again but I can't invest 200+ hours and several years again to play Fallout 4.

Having all the episodes helped me go to the next one after getting sucked in and got me over that apprehension.
I am even watching it again with the little lady.

I like that this was just dropped at once. I know of Fallout and played a few hours of one of the games on Xbox, but I was really on the fence about if this would be good, or if you had to be into the games to get this, or would this just be a 're imagined' series.

I finished the series Sunday night and I really enjoyed it. Walton Goggins is an amazing and underrated actor. I can't wait to see him on the new season of The White Lotus. Ella Purnell was great too.
The whole vault 31 reveal changes a lot of what you think about some of the people in vault 33 especially Betty and Stephanie.
I didn't realize the potion salesman was a ghoul until he "healed" Thaddeus. I completely forgot about Maximus saving him after he got in trouble with a citizen for messing with chickens.
I'm really confused on how Moldaver survived for so long. Was she a ghoul or was she frozen and released 200 years later?
Also, how did they clean up Vault 32 so quickly? Did they unfreeze everyone in 31 and clean it and freeze them back? Maybe they had a mass of RobCo robots to clean it up?
I thought it was a great season. I really wished the episodes were released weekly instead of all at once. In the current streaming world, you had buzz for Fallout for about a month and now it will get lost in the pop culture zeitgeist until season 2 premieres. I don't have time to binge whole series and felt like I had to watch it whenever I had time to keep from getting spoiled on the internet.
