Yeah, it probably means somebody else in another department had to make some cuts so they extended that to Showtime as well to keep all the Presidents and C-levels equally happy.

Just caught up the last 2 seasons. definitely sad to hear its cancelled without a proper ending

No cliffhanger, but for all of the Donovans boys to still be alive and Abby and Bridget (sister) meeting sad ends is a bit naff

I'll be wrapping up S7 tonight as I just signed up for Showtime... this season, to me, has been excellent. I wasn't thrilled with the previous two but am hoping beyond hope we get another season to properly wrap up everything.

Pre Covid, Showtime said they were bringing back the show for a true ending. I wonder if that is still the plan.

Wrapped up the season last night... excellent season, IMO, but definitely NOT a series finale type ending.
