I found the scenes with Ollie training Mia fondly enjoyable in this episode. It was also nice seeing Roy back in the suit.

This past week's episode that had a "Groundhog Day" vibe was probably my favorite of the season. It was nice seeing Quentin again and it was cool that they used him as a bridge for Laurel and Oliver to come to terms with his loss.

One more episode until the big crossover.

I liked it too.

So is The Monitor evil or not? They still think he is over on The Flash (have no idea about the other shows, I'm not watching).

The Monitor has not appeared on Batwoman and I'm a few weeks behind on Supergirl, but he has not appeared on there either.

Legends of Tomorrow doesn't air until January. Their 1st appearance will be in the crossover.

Nor any mention on Black Lighting. Arrow is the main show advancing the plot with the Monitor. We get bits and pieces on the Flash.

Sooner or later every show like this does "Cause and Effect".

Damn, poor Roy. Getting his arm hacked off.

I felt like Oliver was essentially saying goodbye to his kids this episode. He said to John that he needs to send them back to 2040.

I've mostly enjoyed this season of Arrow. More satisfying than mindlessly sticking to the show's past formula in its waning days.

Last few episodes were much better than The Flash, that’s for sure.

Oh Roy, now William can make you a high-tech future arm and you can become the Arsenal we deserve. As for Curtis, he doesn’t give a shit.

So Lyla is Harbinger, does that make Nash Welles Pariah or Psycho-Pirate?

isn’t the fact that they exist in 2040mean crisis doesn’t destroy the multiverse

Nash Wells is Pariah and similar to the comic book series, he unleashed the Anti-Monitor as seen in the epilogue of every episode this week.

Like in the comic books, Roy loses an arm.

Isn't the fact that it is franchise TV that will continue on for multiple seasons and new shows are currently being developed mean Crisis doesn't destroy the multiverse? I mean...obviously.

Solid episode. It was nice to see Ollie's daughter lay off on the Trinity impression and show some emotion.

It's okay! He was up and walking around, like, 30 minutes later.

I was hoping for a final Shado appearance. I looked up the actress and it looks like she was in China's biggest movie ever a couple of years ago so she may be busy.

The series finale, which airs next Tuesday, appears to be about the funeral of Oliver Queen. A lot of familiar faces returning, including you know who.

Where did the couple hundred meters of rope for Mia’s escape arrow come from?

Also, how the heck did a villain get a hold of Cisco’s memory tech, let alone know about it?

I imagine they'll have an answer for that, -but I'm not saying you'll buy it, -if/when this becomes a series.

Wow, they actually ended that “Pilot” on a cliffhanger? So they really must really be confident the CW is going to green light it to series then?

I am curious who was that at the end who woke up evil JJ?

They do have a lot of lingering unresolved stories, especially how Dinah got transferred twenty years in the future.

But the villain in this plot was kind of lame.

Kat McNamara is a good lead though. She already showed potential in Shadowhunters.

According to TV Line, the pilot actually takes place after next week's episode, so perhaps a few things about the situation will be explained.

That was... rough... to say the least. I don’t think I’d watch a full series of it if Kat McNamara wasn’t the lead.

Imagine that you just discover Arrow on Netflix or something. And after eight seasons find out that your main character died on another show, your penultimate episode is actually the pilot for a really poorly constructed reboot and that your series finale is actually a funeral coda. Yikes. That being said Kat McNamara is stunning.

I have zero desire to watch this new show. It was stupid to backdoor this pilot.

Yes they were pretty clear that it takes place in 2040. Next week goes back to present day and Mia will still be there.

Not sure how they can answer questions off that cliffhanger. That was designed to get the Pilot a pickup with lingering stories hanging.
