I approve of this! Met Warwick at Star Wars Celebration a couple of weeks ago. Super cool, funny guy.

During the shooting of ‘Willow’, I found Val to be a very helpful chap. He has a great sense of humor and liked to shock. A good example of this occurred when we were about to fly off to New Zealand. I was seated in First Class, posing while wearing a pair of fake ‘Rayban’ sunglasses, when Val boarded the plane. He snatched the glasses off my face and snapped them in two. “Great”, I thought, “There goes my cool image!”. After gaining much amusement from my shocked reaction, Val produced two pairs of real ‘Raybans’ and gave them to me with the words “These are much cooler!”.

We're a big Willow fan household. We keep thinking we might get Disney+ and this might actually get us to it.
Have we ever had a "channel" get so much buzz before release? It's incredible, the hype.

It really feels like Disney is going full force with great announcements for Disney+. Looking forward to this along with everything else previously announced.

Did Disney make this announcement to coincide with tonight's episode of The Goldbergs?

I wonder if Kevin Pollack will come back as one of the Brownies?

Haven't felt the need to see it before, and Adam Goldberg did not change my lack of a desire to see it now.

My wife had never seen Willow until this past weekend, she really enjoyed it. It was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, so I've seen it more times than I can count. If the series is remotely close in feel to the movie, I'm down.

Along with the movie, I remember the NES game being a favorite of mine when I was young.

I wish I'd given that game a chance. When I was a kid, I was pretty snooty about graphics and thought about that more than gameplay or story in those early NES games. And graphics came off as a bad game and I thought it looked like a bad graphics version of Zelda. But I've heard it's really good and plays like Zelda pretty well.

Hit it on the head. Graphics weren't very good (even for a NES game) but it played well. I remember the music in particular being very good.

For those who haven't seen it, Life's Too Short is a one series/one follow-up movie starring Warwick Davis which is definitely worth watching, and Willow comes up a lot.

After watching it last weekend, the brownies are still just as annoying, and they are easily the worst of the effects. I'm pretty lenient when it comes to effects, especially with older movies, but those two are terrible. Maybe if they weren't so irritating it wouldn't be so bad. Otherwise, aside from the two-headed troll-monster, most of it held up fine for me.
