Thought I'd go ahead and create this. First two boot offs were fairly easy votes. Seems like three of the four returnees are on shaky ground.

"Will Keith pick up the torch and go to Exile Island or will he go home?" has to be the lamest cliffhanger in the history of TV cliffhangers.

I thought David and Rick didn't really have any other choice once Dan decided Chris had to go. While they would have had the votes to get Kelley off, it would have alienated some of the other players with a merge or swap presumably coming up, and Dan doesn't seem like someone who would handle alienation well.

That was a weird edit on Aubrey finding the HII. She takes off into the jungle in her teal romper (or whatever the hell she is wearing), but she finds the idol wearing a red bikini top and yellow shorts. Then she's back in the teal thing for the confessional.
I don't know if she found it on a different day and they just spliced them together or had her recreate her jungle sprint before they shot the confessional. Or maybe she's just a clothes horse who's changing in the middle of jungle, I dunno.

They showed scenes of her idol hunting in her prior seasons. That's why there were different title cards.

It was a bad edit of Aubry... she definitely did not find the HII in the original jaunt thru the jungle.

I wish they didn't telegraph finding the HII so much. At least in an earlier episode they made you wonder who would find it if not would it be found. Basically the HII is never mentioned until someone is about to find it. I think it is a part of the show being so overproduced compared to the early days. Everything plays out like scripted TV even when it isn't.

I wondered the same thing. They must have been told to bring everything they owned for a potential team swap.
How crazy was that swap? The odds were incredibly small that those five would still be together. The odds of them losing another Immunity challenge? Much higher.

I don't recall a specific answer to that question, but recently Jeff said that once you find an idol, it's yours; even if you hide it (bury it, for example) and it's found by someone else, it's still your idol. He didn't specify how they'd handle the situation, though.

I think my favourite parts of the episode were watching Wendy's cartoon-like eye twitches whenever anyone on the tribe mentioned the chickens.

^ It wasn't a bad analogy, but maybe it would have been closer if the Browns moved to Baltimore, became the Ravens and they still sucked forever while the new Browns started playing well.

I think one of the problems with this season is that we have an entire majority alliance that we hardly know. They haven't really been to tribal council so the players we do know are the ones getting decimated. And the only time we have spent with them was almost entirely them reacting to Aubrey and Joe, which is an issue with seasons with only a handful of returning players.
I'm not surprised Kelley couldn't figure it out because she's never been good at alliance building, but I am surprised that David didn't see the opportunity that presented itself in this episode. The four of them left, plus Rick, plus Joe, plus the one girl we've never really met who was aligned with Joe is a a majority.

When one player declares himself the puppet master, that pretty much guarantees that things won't go well for them at tribal council. At least we won't have to hear "Kama strong!" anymore.
