Sorry, I didn't mean literally. I meant the entire concept of "Guess who it is" is just a strong hook. I'm bad at typing today.

If the peacock isn't David Hasselhoff, I will eat my hat. He did the national anthem for the Las Vegas Bowl, so he has technically performed in LV.

Is the monster Steve Smith Sr? Got that vibe from the way he talked. Also said something about catty = panthers

If the peacock isn't Donny Osmond, I'll eat your hat!

The only thing that I can't solidly fit to him was the drama role, but wouldn't surprise me if he did some drama role sometime.

Hoff didn't come from a family of singers, and I don't think he started out as a teenybopper. Also don't recall him being friends with Michael Jackson. Those are all Donny things, though.

I read a theory that the peacock could be Leif Garrett.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

Peacock has to be Osmond. He said something about 5 years old, and seemed to really hit the "5" which made me also think of The Osmond Brothers. It sounds like him too.
Peacock reminds me of his purple socks.

I'm wondering if one of them could be La Toya Jackson? She randomly popped up on Match Game this week.

Monster seems he is a golfer, I was thinking Bubba Watson maybe.

What "dramatic roles" has Donny Osmond done though?

We can't do both? My daughter loves music and singing, so we are watching it with her.

It's like ten minutes long on DVR and is a fun guessing game. Plus, Wednesday is a dead zone for me, as is most of the week right now.

The Forum Rules listed at the bottom of each forum do not talk about trolling or thread crapping. As covenant mentions, some of the individual forums do have other rules stickys.

Of course one would hope that trolling/off-topic is not something that would need stated, but that's the same with most of the rules.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

Y'all are right, there was nothing specific about thread-crapping in this forum, so I created a new sticky based on the rules in the DVD Talk forum:

Never would've guessed Margaret Cho. Was hilarious that she worked with Ken for many years and didn't even guess it.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

I get a Donnie or Mark Wahlberg vibe from the clues for the Rabbit. You'd think Jenny would know if that were the case, but maybe that's part of the act.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

I think Mark is way too big of a star for this show. Donnie would certainly be in play, but yeah, you'd think he would have a hard time keeping it from Jenny.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

Yeah no clue it was Margaret. Kind of a sneaky way to boost the Grammy/Emmy stats.
I didn't notice on the previous episodes, but on this one they rolled the clues with the reasoning behind them at the bottom after she unmasked.

I've been hoping one of them was Donnie since he's married to Jenny.

I think the Alien might be La Toya Jackson. She's got black sequin gloves on, and the costume looks like Michael's Thriller jacket. Shamone! Hee heeeee!

She was in one episode of his sitcom.

The consensus seems to be that the rabbit is Joey Fatone.

Looked like she had black around her mouth so I couldn't tell if that was some sort of mask or if she was African American.

I think they were friends before the show. He was an opener for her standup.
