Better Call Saul (S4E08) -- "Coushatta" -- 9/24/18
Jimmy goes to great lengths to right a wrong, as Kim pulls out all the stops for a case; Mike lets his team blow off steam; Nacho receives a visitor.

When Kim came at Jimmy in the stairwell after the case was plead down I let out an audible teenage girl-like squeal.
And enter the much anticipated Lalo. It looks like things are about to escalate quickly.

I'm starting to think Kim's downfall is coming, and it's become her own doing.
Lalo is going to be an interesting plot line, because he is another unknown during the events of BB.

Ziegler, and not Kai, is probably going end up being a permanent part of the meth factory.

God I really love the show. Sucks that there are only 2 episodes left this season.

Dumb question and I know we hashed out much of it last week with the opening montage, but Saul and Kim are not together, but are living together. Roommates. Or are they still dating, but the relationship is on the skids?

I thought they were still "together", just that the relationship was strained. Kim seems to be really charged up over their scheme to defend Huell, though.

Wow this is SO much better than all that endless Chuck stuff. Fantastic season.
Funny how Jimmy 100% misread Kim. Loved his "Louisiana pastor" impression. Just great...

Got it and this makes sense. Even with last week there were scenes of them driving together and living together so figured they were still together in some capacity.

Wonder if their shenanigans will land Kim in jail during the BB period... or maybe she's in hiding too - Saul's gotta somehow find out about that guy who hides people.

The cartel may figure into it somehow. Lalo/Nacho are pretty much at the front and center of Jimmy's mind when he is abducted by Walt and Jesse early in BB. It could be the trigger that forces Kim to flee, or worse.
On a side note, once Jimmy is entangled in with the cartel (presumably through Mike) I think that we will probably see Hank make an appearance.

I must say that the Kim "flip" is completely organic and the seeds were brilliantly set up in previous seasons. It also makes the turn of Jimmy into Saul even more believable. This season is fantastic. Poor German guys dont even realize they are building their own tomb.
Who would have ever thought that a prequel where you intimately know where everything winds up (sort of) could be so brilliantly complex and interesting. I am so interested to see where this goes.

So that was Nacho keeping the drug money in a safe, right? Maybe he needs Saul's help in laundering it? Wasn't that the experience that Walt needed from Saul in BB originally? My memory of BB, at this point, is pretty bad.

He's got fake Manitoba IDs for him and his father - so he's got to be thinking of bailing soon.

Other then just thinking it happens ismthere any reason to believe that the builders are going to be encased in the concrete in the meth lab?

Not really, I don’t think, but Gus is so cold and calculating that the less people know about it the better. Plus, with the head of them leaving the drawing at the bar, seems inevitable...
