Maybe the mother’s relationship is with another woman!

One of my fav new shows so far

I just hope it doesn't go too out there too soon and stays 'subtle' for a while

Liked episode #2. Hope this continues to grow.

Watched both eps over the weekend and dug it.

-I get a "REVOLUTION" and "Once Upon a Time" vibe where at some point this series will go waaaay off the rails and end up corny if it makes it that far before cancellation..
-Josh whats his face from "Once" being in this and this show being on NBC almost guarantees the above.

New Testament verses have been featured prominently in the first two episodes. ("He is risen, He is not here" is what an angel says to Mary when she comes to visit the tomb of Jesus.)

I mean, I doubt there's actually a shadow character chasing them around and killing them, though that shot where the woman was starting up her car was really odd.

I am hoping it doesn't turn out to be a spirit of some sort. The shadow at the end of the second episode apparently belongs to a physical person, though.

I am interested in this but will probably wait to stream it after this season. Looks like it may flow better that way.

I enjoyed episode 3. I’d rather have a supernatural explanation for the event rather than some logical reason.

I thought the last ep faded for me.. will still stick around for the season though...

I’m enjoying the series for the most part but the main girl (can’t remember her name, the cop) is just flat out unlikable. Hard to care about anyone on the show when the main focus is on such a miserable person.

I’d like to see them focus more on the pilot. His paranoia over being blamed for the whole thing seems a lot more interesting that a couple of stupid love triangles and a sick kid.

The pacing for this show is interesting, it's almost self contained on an episode by episode basis.

The wife's boyfriend subplot isn't resolved, but the whole hiding it was resolved in one episode.

The killer of the snitch mystery was also resolved in one episode and didn't turn out to be really related to much (I didn't take that woman's hysteria as being related to the event). It was actually kind of a let down.

I don't really understand what revelation about their dead daughter the cop was going to reveal to the parents. The flashback showed what, that she was pressured into driving by her friend? She was going to tell them THAT? And the husband had nobody else to call to watch his house or go look for his wife?

I don't really understand how they got from "own your truth" to "hey that couple own this weird strip mall, that must be her truth" to "hey we happened to come across the exact person that bruised the wife and she has a ton of useful information." Also, I can kind of understand a voice in their head leading them a certain way, but it's manipulating events so that the cop happens to go to visit the parents of the friend, she goes after the missing mom, she saves the mom and causes the real perpetrator of the crime to crash with the evidence clearly displayed in her car?

Also for the revelation in the previews: I won't post what it is here, but wouldn't that be revealed as soon as they landed and got off the plane? They better explain that.

All the main characters names are on the first post and show description.

It’s Michaela.

Supernatural explanations smack of religious belief, which is largely verboten on network television. Outside of genre shows like Sleepy Hollow, you almost never see it anymore.

Personally I liked the end of the murder story being a one-off event. There is still this issue of the shadow, the unexplained "feelings", and changes to their body chemistry. I just hope it doesn't turn into another Lost where so much of the parts that got people interested went no where. The last thing we need is the group trying to control everything around this event turning into the next Dharma.

Thanks. I thought some characters in Ep. 2 were calling her “Micky” but when I wrote it it just didn’t seem right.

Characters have definitely referred to her by a nickname rather than her full name on occasion. I'm not even sure it would be spelled Mickey, But it's been something other than Michaela. But since I don't have the CC on I don't see how the show spells it.

I had no idea this was a low key Doctor Who spin-off. First time travel, now Weeping Angels!

What exactly was the "bombshell" last night that they kept promising?

Decent episode. But that Olive actress sure can bring a performance, especially during her crying scene. Good father / daughter scene.

Few episodes in and I haven't connected with any of the characters yet. Don't really care what happens to any of them. It was nice seeing Franco from Rescue Me get some work again though.

Yeah, the last ep was pretty meh. Plus, am I expected to believe that Mic didn't learn from the last incident not to jump to her first conclusion when the "callings" start?

But then we wouldn't have the "drama" of her being wrong and getting her former fling in trouble with the bosses!! :/

Her character is the worst of the bunch.
