Last night I watched S2 E3 - Boar on the Floor episode. Holy shit! One of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen. Funny, cringe-worthy, spectacularly written. When all the "boar on the floor" shit is done and over and it's revealed that Roman leaked the info about acquiring Pierce, Kendal pops up behind his dad and says "Boar on the floor?"... it was perfect.
BTW, is Logan Roy supposed to be Rupert Murdoch?

Yeah, the series launched as being more or less based on the Murdoch family.

Kendall reminds me of Ryan on The Office when he was working for corporate and doing drugs.
”This is good for you because your presentation is not great, and so now no one will be watching”
Greg dropping a “It’s really well edited” about the video was great.

I also liked the bit with Matsen’s Auschwitz tweet.
”Yeah I know what it’s from.” “I’m not going to Favorite it”.
And later Roman : “He deleted it!” Then Hugo : “Let me see”.

Noticed that this season Kendall has stepped up his watch game ( in so much as he's now got the most expensive watch on the show ) a Richard Mille.
Tom has a nice Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Geri also has one in gold, tom's is Stainless. and then a lot of others characters are wearing IWC brand watches
Roman/Greg etc

That was Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfayden's Emmy reel right there. That was a rough scene.

thought this was the best episode of the season and maybe the series. even someone like matsson is just playing in this sandbox while someone like logan and to extent his officers/board built the empire through experience.
wouldn't be surprised to see the struggling media company looking to sell absorb both these terrible companies dirt cheap and completely dismantle them and mine assets.

I'm wondering if when they look into GoJo's fake subscription numbers, if Kendall bullshiting his projections for Living+ also gets discovered.

For a bit there, I thought either Tom or Shiv was gonna jump from the balcony. I'm glad they didn't, because that would be a cheap way to stir up drama and reeks of something from lesser shows.
I laughed at Mattson stating he would need 2 India's to make his subscription numbers accurate.
It's amazing that this show can be so compelling when it's strictly dialog driven. 75% of it based around business in which half of the talk is business jargon that few understand.
Loved Conner being offered an ambassador role of Somalia, and he turns it down as a "Little bit car bomb-y".

I'm a couple episodes behind and just watched ep 5 "Kill List" last night. Another amazing hour of television. This season, they can do no wrong - it's been compelling television each and every episode thus far.

Somebody here has called just about every episode this season "Maybe the best episode of the series". They are really firing on all cylinders.

As much as the kids shits on Con, at least he has found happiness with Willa and his wealth.
The other three kids gonna be miserable and will never be content in life.

Part of me wonders if the whole Matson/Ebba thing is a show, but I guess realistically the Roy's will win out in the end, as there's not a show if they sell to him

My entirely likely to be wrong predictions for the characters by the end:
Kendall - Continues to become a cringey amoral hipster-speak version of his father, basically, and miserable
Shiv - Sets off on her own, totally miserable
Roman - Dead (bold call, but I can kind of imagine it happening)
Tom - In jail
Greg - Kendall's right hand sycophant

The only thing I feel comfortable predicting is that very few if any of the family are going to end up happy. Probably Conner, maybe Greg.

The second half of the episode was intense.
Loved Frank’s “Conner was running for President?”
Wonder if Shiv is going to burn Kendall and out him with the Andrew Dobbs death.

Connor's lack of ability and self-awareness is always hilarious. Conheads... haha.
A concession speech given by someone with less than 1% of the votes.
Snook was great at messaging Shiv's BS and then in panic mode when she was found out.
I'm really going to miss this show.
