I think Logan did convince his father to invest in the park when Arnold and Ford approached him. A few years later is when Logan takes William there to let him see the park and have someone else who wants to continue in invest in it. Then when William goes back with daddy Delos, minus Logan who is messed up from the last visit and addicted, daddy Delos wants to let the park die as it is a money suck but William convinces him that they could use it for the marketing and eventually the immortality aspect of it.

How long was she kept in the cave there? I have no sense of how much time has passed over the course of the show.
This was hands down the best episode of the season. I was surprised that my wife and I both thought it was stronger because Dolores wasn't in it, and even more surprised to see a lot of other people think that as well.

I too enjoyed seeing the switch in timelines between younger William visiting Delos and then older TMIB William having the same conversation. Ed Harris is fantastic in this role. Looking forward to seeing his role within the overall plot develops.

Only a day? She sure didn't do a good job rationing her ketchup packets.
Seems like a lot has happened since he tried to kill her -- several days at least -- although the timeline is rather unclear.

I don't think it could've been weeks. It was a few days at the most.

Seems pretty obvious where this season is going.
In terms of the ownership thing, I think that Delos had a large chunk of it, but not really a majority that was owned by Ford. It seems Delos ownership was large enough to have influence over some aspects of the park and to do some research independently, but that Ford still controlled the park, and his research was separate from Delos'.
The more I watch this show the more I think that the first season needed to have maybe 3 or 4 more episodes where we just saw the park functioning. I think that lack of context is hurting the show this season and quite honestly it would have been cool.

Lol she's dead. The new one is a hybrid robot and part of Ford's ongoing "new narrative"

Vanity Fair has posted a "Notes on a Scene" video on Youtube where Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy break down the Delos experiment scenes from this episode. It's long (35 min) but really in-depth and insightful about the construction of these scense.
