That was a really fucked up episode

Wow , just wow. That episode is WHY this show gets its own weekly thread. Jesus , masterful.

My brain needed a cigarette after that episode, and I don't even smoke.

This show transcends its genre. I have such a hard time telling people why they should watch it once I get to superpowers, which is both important (in that it's a vehicle for exploring the characters) and incidental (in that the plot isn't your typical superpower show).

I really hope we get a third season.

I thought it was boring. Thinking of dropping the show soon.

Last week I asked about a missing scene that it seems my local station ran a commercial over ... this week I had no title sequence and another seemingly odd cut to commercial again.

Was there a title sequence this week?

Well, by Legion standards that was the first “down” episode in my book - the first time I recall too much wheel spinning. It was still a decent episode IF you are invested in the show (which I think you have to be if you are watching at this point). However it lacked a lot of the visual and story-telling punch the show usually has.

The “big twist” wasn’t that big or even a surprise — Syd told us about that in the first season.

This ep was absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking and just so fucking perfect.
In a series that continually 'wows' me this is without question the high-water mark for me.
