This was pretty mediocre.
So for the bad guy they just took the last name of the leader of ISIS and made him look like Saddam Hussein
Also loved the huge "Defense Intelligence Agency" sign on the side of the building and the team leader who looked like he spent an hour on his hair before the mission and went unnoticed in the middle of a cafe in Syria

The ratings for this were not good...we have a candidate for the which new series will get cancelled first deadpool list. It is on my tivo. Unless the Live +3 numbers pop it may be a goner after a few episodes (it put up worse numbers than Timeless which was cancelled and then resurrected).

The CW has a similar series coming after "Supergirl" called "Valor", and CBS has one with David Boreanaz. We'll see if any of them do well, though I only remember the Boreanaz show (but not the title, evidently).

That was actually the best reviewed of the 3 new military themed shows.

Just watched this tonight. A fairly ordinary rescue mission/take out the terrorist episode. Had a little bit of Homeland in it. They did do a good job with the sets/locations. Plot was mostly predictable, but it had some decent action scenes.
But, that suicide attack at the beach to end the episode was an interesting way to end it.
Judging by the preview of future episodes, it looks like the series is rescue mission of the week themed. That might get old quick for those who don't really like procedural-themed dramas.

I finally watched and shock of shocks liked it a bit better than SEAL Team, I am in for however long it lasts. Also, like many shows on Monday including Scorpion it got a bit of a Pop in the live +3 ratings. Although this pop was overshadowed by the massive pop that The Good Doctor received along with The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon (the live +3 for Young Sheldon provides more evidence for why the studio immediately pulled the trigger on the back 9).

Watched the 2nd episode last night and thought it was pretty entertaining.
That CIA girl who was the center of the plot was pretty badass. For such a tiny girl, she took out so many bad guys.
There was some good action, although most of the episode was fairly predictable.
I did think there should have been a better follow up to the Pilot showing the aftermath of the terrorist bombing at the beach that ended the episode. The 2nd episode jumped ahead 2 weeks and it felt like there was no payoff to that.

I thought the pilot was better than ep 2. Still enjoyed it though. I agree about the beach bombing. It had no impact and was essentially ignored in the plot of ep2.

This show is so much better than SEAL Team because it is focused on the military side and not the "drama" of relationships. It probably won't survive since SEAL team gets way more press, has bigger stars and surely has more viewers. I like this show a lot more than SEAL team.

Terrific show. I like that they switch up the types of missions every week.

I agree about this being better than SEAL Team. The lead actor was good in the show Pan Am a few year back. Good to see him in something new.

Regarding SEAL Team I don't mind it but that is more for the supporting cast than Boreanaz. He is ok but everyone else in the show is better than he is in this role. Shockingly enough I dig the bad ass version of the geeky CSI NY tech - Sonny.

Those of you following this show is it going to make it back next season or what?
I hope it does but have a bad feeling it won't.
