For those curious who still haven't watched the premiere last week, Krypton did pretty well. It was the #5 most watched cable show last Wednesday.

Some nice little Superman nods here. Seg figuring out how to operate the fortress of solitude just like his grandson did.

Also, we get a mention of The Phantom Zone and it's origin.

Lyta Zod's fight scene with her commander was pretty brutal. Looks like she's taking a bigger leadership role.

Adam Strange had a bigger presence here. Good, but not great episode. It's still trying to figure things out. I think this episode was a little too talky at points.

I am curious about Superman's dissolving cape (affected by Brainiac's presence) and how that will play in the show as the season progresses. I doubt we'll ever see any tie-in to the present.

I get the impression the house of the magistrate guy, with the hot blonde daughter, are after Seg because they want him to father a child so there is El blood in their family they can use to access the fortress and it's secrets. The many faced guy is probably in on it too..

Betting there is an ongoing storyline of which woman becomes Superman's grandmother.

How does Strange know to speak and read Kryptonian? I doubt the magistrate knows there’s a DNA lock on the fortress computer. Anybody else think that the Face of Rao is Brainiac?

I think both of you have probably given away the next two seasons' worth of plot. It's not hard guessing where this show's narrative is going.

It was hard buying that combat fight so soon into the series.
