The weird lady is going to trade them the secrets of the universe for an ashtray?
My DVR is showing this episode as two hours ... is that correct?

I think there is a sneak preview of The Terror after and they programmed it so it’s a part of TWD.

Yeah, AMC getting sneaky. Making sure everyone that records TWD also records The Terror tonight.

I already have The Terror set for tomorrow ... thank you for reminding me!
I figured it was going to be a 70 minute episode with 50 minutes of commercials.

Apparently not.
And, as predicted, Henry is the new Carl.
So what were the 'heartbreaking discoveries?'

I'm with you about Henry. That kid needs to go. He's not the new Carl (bite your tongue) and he's not the new Sofia. He's the new Megan

The actor who plays Jesus in The Walking Dead has told Newsbeat "it's a soap opera like any other" - and could continue for a long time to come.
The show has passed the 100th episode mark and is nearing the end of its eighth season.
But with viewing figures taking a significant hit some fans are questioning whether the format is starting to wear out.
Tom Payne, though, insists that's not the case.
"People die, people laugh, people cry - it's just like any other show", he's told Newsbeat.
"It's like Eastenders... with zombies."
"Days of Our Lives is on its 45th season now. I don't know whether we'll get that far, but I'm sure they'll try."
"It's a universe now. We have two main shows (The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead), there's video games - and I'm sure there'll be many more off shoots to come."
Eastenders has been on TV since 1985 - airing more than 5,000 episodes.

Hard to believe those people at the Hilltop slept through the sound of zombies eating people, their screams, and the sound of a zombie falling down the stairs. Also hard to believe that Simon and most of the other Saviors didn't get shot as they approached the house and the lights suddenly came on. What am I saying? It's TWD!

It's not that they slept soundly. It's that these stealthy walkers are as silent as the grave from which they came.

As for the Saviors, yeah, they all funneled through the gate and stood in a small compacted group. Just ripe to be mowed down, but alas. Let's wait until they spread out. We're only going to miss most of them, anyway.

Yea, not going to pile on... I have the same face-palming issues with the episode everyone else has.
I still don't get what Dwight is doing. Wouldn't he be more effective if he just joined the gang and help kill the Saviours? Or at least warn the gang of the intention of getting them infected. He's just tagging along with them for no real reason. Hell, he could've killed Simon 10x over last week.

The show does portray a lot of gaps in logic anymore. It's almost as if the writing teams are not talking things through with the individual directors enough, and they are just shooting whatever they are given without question.

I don't like to hate-watch shows because frankly I don't have time for that, but this show really makes you have to facepalm left and right at how dumb they portray each and every character, especially throughout this season. It's like the writers don't even care if anything makes sense anymore... yet I can't bring myself to let the show go into the drop pile I guess because I still hold very little hope that it would someday return to the greatness of season one. :/
