^ I’m only 3 episodes in and am enjoying it so far but yeah, not a whole lot of punishing going on yet. Episode 1 had a decent ending at the construction site but other than that there hasn’t been much. I do like Bernthal though so he makes the duller parts worthwhile.

I'm through 2 episodes.

BTW, I'm watching this on Netflix in 4K HDR and it looks pretty freaking good. It's so good that you can actually seem the little blemishes on Deborah Ann Woll's face. Very sharp and crisp.

The 1st episode had some pretty hardcore violence from Frank at the construction site. But, a lot of flashbacks to his past.

The 2nd episode seems to be dealing with more of a "conspiracy" angle.

I’m 9 episodes in and still not a lot of punishing.

I don’t really mind the “Non-punishing” angle this seems to take. We got that in the intro of ep1, so it’s refreshing (to me, at least) to see Frank struggling with unfamiliar territory. Only minor complaint is that I’m not feeling the (2nd-in-command) baddie so far. Hopefully that’ll change when this closes out.

Btw, LOVED the look (And sounds) of the Kentucky-woods shoot-out

Yeah, 5 episodes in and the Madani ass shot is the highlight outside of a few scenes.

Watched this weekend and mostly enjoyed it. Had a question about Episode 10:

Spoiler:
How did the gun get back into Karen's bag? I very well could have missed a scene, but it seems they established that she turned her gun in to Anvil earlier in the episode.

There was a mention that the whole thing was a murder-suicide. I wasn't clear on it. No worries.

I don't need to know about the demons that created Frank Castle.

That was at the poker game. Remember the last guy left, Frank broke his arm and bent it so the gun was against the guys head to make it look self-inflicted.

I'm not much of a bully. But do you know who I definitely wouldn't bully? The crazy dude that smashes shit with a sledgehammer all day and night. That's who. Especially not while he's holding the fucking thing.

He climbed out of the cement with the rope Frank dropped, and came up to a note that said "leave town", so I have to assume he left town.

I don't know why, but I'm just really not into this one. Generally, I burn through these shows pretty quickly. Whenever I have some spare time I'll watch a few episodes. When I came home from work yesterday, I completely forgot to try and watch and watched other things instead.

Even though Iron Fist sucked, at least most of the main focus was on Danny. I feel like this is all over the place with stuff I have no interest in.

It reminds me of Ennis Punisher stories, where we spend a lot of time with the other characters, before Frank blows them away in the end.

4 episodes in, still enjoying it Mostly due to Bernthal. He is so damn intense.

Up to episode four so far. I'm disappointed. Having the series start with him giving up being The Punisher has hurt it a lot. It feels like one of the Garth Ennis stories but nowhere near as good. Still think Bernthal is fantastic in the role, but I just don't understand why these Marvel Netflix shows are so bad.

The last few episodes ratchets up the violence. Some of it gets a little uncomfortable.

I lost interest in these with the last half of Luke Cage. The first half was great but the last half fizzled. It pointed a glaring problem with every one of these series: FILLER. I haven’t watched Iron Fist or the Defenders. I was hoping The Punisher would rekindle my interest in these, but you guys aren’t selling it to me.

I think this has more filler than of them, which is crazy.

I was really bored with the first few episodes but the last few were really good. They could have told the story in ten episodes.

Spoiler:
I guess the whole thing was to set up Jigsaw. I'm assuming he's coming after them all in season 2.
