I still watch but i havent started the current season yet. I'm behind in the comics too

I used to read the TPBs as quickly as they came out, but I'm now a couple behind.

This season broke me. For a while watching this show was feeling more like a chore than something I looked forward to doing. I had some episodes piling on up my DVR. This Sunday I was trying to watch football when I got a message saying I would have have to either change the channel or delete a recording (I was recording Last Man on Earth too). And I just deleted TWD instead (not just current episode but series recording). It'll be easy enough to go back later if I hear things got really good again. But I have a feeling that's not happening.

I grind it out still... I don't watch live anymore. The only upside is that I have access to go to Talking Dead tapings. There are always a solid one or two episodes each season that are strong and memorable, but most times it's really forgettable and repetitive.

I got a couple episodes into the previous season after the Negan cliffhanger, and I said "Well, that was kinda like the comics.... Why am I watching this show?" So I just stopped and haven't looked back.
