I actually kind-of liked the trailer and think this could turn out to be a fun watch. Granted, shows like this (I am thinking of Whiskey Cavalier) have been one and done more often than not, but I will watch it next year because it looks like a pleasant enough show. I also watched Whiskey Cavalier up to the point where it was pulled from the air, so these types of shows can draw me in as a viewer.

It’s strange how no matter how different the subject matter is, CBS shows all have that same shiny CBS look.
The show could be interesting but those two leads don’t look like they have much charisma or chemistry together.

Yeah, that doesn't look very good. The lead looks like John Cena's stunt double.
I guess it's cool that Tom Arnold reprises his role.

People might like it. Not really my thing though.
Seems more in line with "La Totale!"
True Lies is still one of the all time greats of the genre. When I think about the genre, I'm like and old high school football hero reminiscing about the glory days. I miss it.

Matthew Lillard and Keith David and Tom Arnold? Are they regulars? If so, I'm in.

I’ll check it out, but I’m not optimistic it survives beyond its initial 13 episodes. Most CBS mid season dramas don’t make it.
Last year: Good Sam that starred Sophia Bush. Canceled
2021: Clarice: canceled although they did try to save it.
Plus the two leads of this series are unknown for most. Unless you saw Shameless, I don’t think most know Steve Howey. And I’ve never heard of Ginger Gonzaga Until I saw She Hulk.

As a fan of the film, I will at least attempt to get through the pilot of the show. Keith David, Omar Gooding, and Tom Arnold help this look a little better.

Steve Howey and Scott Atkins were in Netlfix's Day Shift. (Jamie Foxx vampire movie). They had a couple of great action scenes in the movie.

I've been meaning to watch Day Shift for Adkins alone, but I haven't been able to muster much enthusiasm for that flick, despite liking Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco, and enjoying 87 North pictures.

Howey was married to and has kids with Sarah Shahi. That alone should make him the envy of all the nerds of this board

Definitely more comedic in tone than serious. I attribute that to Matt Nix’s writing since his action shows like Burn Notice mixes comedy. Some of the acting wasn’t that good. Howey was okay being the dopey husband and spy, but he’s not that good of an actor. I did like Ginger Gonzaga. She looks great. Omar Miller seems to be taking the Tom Arnold type role here.
Don’t expect something amazing from this. If you don’t care for action procedurals on CBS, then this show is likely not for you.
James Cameron is getting an EP credit, but that’s simply just a vanity credit and an extra paycheck for him.
