Midnight, Texas just received one of the most bonkers finale stretches in television history. The last four episodes are must-see viewing if you watched any of the first season. They amped up the intensity and craziness beyond what we normally get on network television. It was clear the showrunners were leaving nothing in reserve.

It's interesting they wrote the finale both ways - they clearly knew their chances at renewal were slim, giving us a satisfying conclusion to the series, but still threw in something at the very end in case of renewal.
