Looking forward to it. Pretty late premiere, but at least it will run a little into the summer.
Wonder why Vince/Pete Gould/Sony only make 10 episodes per season. Breaking Bad got 13 episodes per season. I'm guessing they don't want to blow their load because Jimmy/Saul's prequel story has a very short lifespan. With Gus Fring being introduced this season, we're getting pretty close to Walter White and Jesse coming into Saul's life.

Pumped. I wish they would move this show to Sunday nights though.

I've wondered if, for the final season, there's any chance they might bring the BB crew back and film a series of episodes from the original series from Saul's standpoint to finish up this series and get him to the place where we saw him at the beginning of episode 1.

I said the same thing to a friend. Do well known scenes again but from his perspective. That would be cool as shit.

Vince Gilligan directed the first two episodes of S3!
VG: I think this is our best season yet – and I don’t always say that. I’m just so impressed with the work everybody’s doing, and I really, truly think this is our most exciting, deep, rich and complex season yet. As evidence of that, I was watching the sound mix for one of our episodes in the first half of our new season and after it was over, I felt shell-shocked. I turned to Peter and said, “I feel like I just watched the 63rd episode of Breaking Bad.” We have not set out to make it feel like Breaking Bad because we still very much intend for Better call Saul to be its own series, but nonetheless there is more crossover in Season 3 than ever. In a sense, I feel like the audience is getting two shows for the price of one. They’re getting the best of both worlds, and I can’t wait for people to see these 10 episodes.

I almost feel like I need to go back and watch the first two seasons again. I remember the basic gist of what's happening but I could use a refresher. Might try to binge the series over the next week or so.

I did that over the last 2 weeks. Because of the slow nature of the show binge watching helps enjoy it even more. I'm actually glad that this is the one show that took it's time setting all of what is to come up.
