I think next season they change it up and use Cobalt Blue.

Many fans have voiced their concerns about making another speedster the big bad of the next season.

Hes a difficult character to make villains for because like Superman hes so overpowered. In theory he should never lose a fight to any being who is normal speed.

Mystical villains? We haven't seen Abra Kadabra yet (not really "mystical" but close enough).

They still do things that makes little since with his speed like getting hit. The freeze gun or doctor light does not mean anything if they are too slow to hit him. So we get the I'm really fast aside from when the story says I need to ne slower.

Yeah its hard not to roll your eyes when he gets punched by a gorilla. He should be able to leave, do his taxes and be back before that punch even lands.

Wasn't that explained in the first season though? Somehow between the telepathy and telekenesis he can 'catch' the Flash, per se.

That's what I thought since Savitar made it a point to say "I am the future, Flash" twice which could translate to "I am the future Flash" (sans coma).

Why don't they whisk Iris off to a foreign country and she doesn't return until after her supposed death ? hell why don't they all move to another country for 6 months

Or for that matter portal her to Earth-2, 3, 19 or SG.

But that would mean he could be Barry or Wally and Wally is now trapped in a Speed Force prison possible going mad.

If they can get Iris to replace Wally in the speed force then she should be safe from Savitar since he's not going to risk being imprisoned again going after her.

Seriously though I think he/she needed Wally specifically to go in to make sure Savitar is born. So whoever takes Wally's place becomes Savitar. Obvious volunteers include Barry, Joe, Iris, Jessie, and possibly HR. Yes, HR could still become Savitar. lol
