"Attack on Gorilla City" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)
BARRY AND TEAM TRAVEL TO GORILLA CITY AND FACE GRODD - When Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) informs the team that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted, Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. It's hard to believe we just saw Gorilla City on TV.
I like Jesse, but that stuff with Wally was just painful. I'm assuming we'll see how Gypsy ended up on Earth 2 next week.

Awesome! All the other gorillas should have spoke because Grod was a lab experiment and effected by the accelerator explosion (unless were all created by the accelerator explosion on Earth 2). AFAIK Grodd was the only Earth1 gorilla with telepathy.

I thought it was pretty awesome. It seems almost impossible for Grodd to have a bad episode. Plus who can hate Flash fighting Salovar in an area surrounded by guerillas? Nice surprise seeing Gypsy again as well.
Seems like Cavaughna was having a fun time playing HR, Harry and Harry possessed by Grodd. I'm really digging Julian and like the idea of him and Caitlin getting together. Hey Supergirl writers, learn from this relationship right here! And by the same token, don't learn from Jesse and Wally. That was pretty awful even though it was nice to have Jesse back.

Tell me, are you going to planet of the apes? No, it's more like a city of the apes

That was pretty awesome.
Kudos to the CGI dept for their work creating Gorilla City and the Gorillas. Some pretty impressive work for a TV budget.

Julian was the best part of the episode imo.
Thought they could have done more than they did with the City of the Apes, but I guess being a TV show, the budget wasn't high enough for it.

So i'm guessing Solovar will become a friend of the Flash eventually right?

It seemed like Grodd had misled Solovar about mankind's intentions on Gorilla City. I don't think Solovar was painted as a bad guy. Grodd also seemed smaller in this episode for some reason, especially in comparison to Solovar.
