I am just about done with episode 5 (the latest episode), and I have grown to love this show. It really helps that even the slowest episode a couple weeks back feels like it moved at a breakneck pace compared to last season.
Finished the episode and I am eager to finish up the season

It may also mean season 3 might be a bit slower if it only adapts the first half of book 2.

That was pretty damn amazing. This show is best sci-fi on TV now hands down. Fantastic.

I love this show. How this is on Scy-Fy is mind boggeling and I keep waiting for them to mess it up.

I'm several episodes behind, but am confused by a few plot points. I just finished the episode with the flashback to the propulsion test.
1) on the propulsion test the last we saw the ship was just hurtling out towards space, then a cut/pan down to earth.*
I think that was with a good portion left in the episode, but we didn't see him again. Seemed very odd to let that plot thread dangle. Also, if he died how did we have a narration?
2) what the heck happened at the end? Did the Martians plan to take out a UN outpost? Stuff started blowing up right after the blackout comms window.
*one of the best transition scenes I've seen in a long while. Reminded me of transition scenes in Highlander films and episodes.

Caught up so have partial answers to my second question above. Still no clue on question number one.
This last episode definitely felt like more filler, but a lot happened the past few episodes so I understand the need to move some pieces around and reset. Definitely a big wtf at the end of the episode though.
The airlock scene a few episodes back, and the dock at Ganymede Station, were some really unfortunate events.

Some major changes this past week. Things are definitely ramping up quickly!
Only two episodes to go for the season. I may save up the last two and have a mini marathon to close out the season. Crazy we're already at the end!

Damn. Finale looks like it is going to be great. Hilarious that Adam Savage has a cameo.

I'm binging season 2 this week to catch up. I just got to the airlock scene on Ganymede, and damn if that wasn't incredibly emotional. I wasn't sure about this show after season 1, but I'm really loving it right now. Season 2 has been really good.

I just binged this season. Wow, even better than I expected! I'm glad Holden has finally realized that there's no way he can track down all of the protomolecule out there and personally destroy it. That ship has sailed.
I was sorry to see Miller go, but that was an amazing scene with him finally meeting 'Julie'.
I like Bobbie. Simple and direct. She and Amos should hook up.
WTH was up with the ship that flew over the crater full of protomolecule?
This is a damn good show. As someone said above, what the hell is it doing on Syfy?

When is season 2 going to go streaming on Amazon or Syfy? I caught up with season 1 on Amazon but they don’t have season 2 and syfy only has the last few episodes of season 2. I have already forgotten what happened in season 1. I hate when they do that. How do they expect to grow an audience when they pull something like this?

Due to feeling crappy yesterday and taking some sick hours that had me at home in the early afternoon I ended up napping after taking some cold medicine and aspirin (head was pounding) so I had trouble sleeping because of the nap and around 1 am I turned on the tv (I have wireless headphones so my neighbors never hear my tv at night) and decided to try and finish up the last three eps of The Expanse...well I am glad my insomnia had me in the mood to keep the tv going because around 3:30 am I finished up Season 2.
Holy flip this show is crazy good and I am itching to view season three ASAP.
