This show has become all yelling. The Bundys hated each other And they didn't yell this much. The child actors make my ears hurt. Done.

I couldn't disagree more with this entire statement. But to each his own.

My problem with this show is the kids are like Homer Simpson - they've got to keep doing stupider stuff or you run out of premise. Barry's girlfriend and brother has to forgive him for stupider stuff every week, and it got so his actions were so stupid the sister had to do stupid awful things to change it up.

Yeah, I didn't enjoy this season as much as I have in the past, and a lot of it was the increasingly crazy antics of Barry. Never the show's strong point in the first place. And despite Hayley Orrantia's hotness, Erica was a waste of a character this year too. The best part of The Goldbergs is Adam and his grandfather, which this year was the ONLY thing worth watching. Not sure how they'll keep it up as Adam grows older and more mature.

I still love this show. I guess growing up close to the same age/timeframe and near the area hits home for me.

I started watching late season 2. It just went into syndication so I'm catching the early episodes I missed. They definitely did make an effort at first to be more authentic with 80s styling, particularly with Erica. In the first few episodes she had big poofy hair, high waisted jeans, gaudy earrings, lots of neon.
