I'm looking forward to it. I don't know if I am a fan of the setting this year though. I was looking forward to the rumored "summer camp" theme. Not sure how a long a show like this can survive.

Based on last year, it was about six episodes. I guess Skyler Samuels didn't make the cut for this season. I would have much rather seen her back instead of Lea Michele. Originally Posted by dex14

Hopefully they don't kill off Billie Lourd. By the end, I thought she was the best thing about the show.

I was fine with most of last season.
My comment was more about how many seasons can this go on if it isn't an anthology.

Look at that picture, I thought Kenan Thompson had finally left SNL, but it's just the one guy from "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life".

I enjoyed the first season ("cocaine or dildo?") and looking forward to the new episodes.

I absolutely love this fucking show.
also, someone needs to post a screencap of Emma Roberts in her underwear.

Great premiere, a ton of fun. I like the new characters, and they got rid of the old ones (like Grace) who bothered me so it's all good.

The first season of Scream Queens was half-and-half for me. There were parts I loved so much I wanted to call it my new favourite show, yet there were long stretches of story and characters that nearly put me to sleep. Towards the end, I would watch by fast-forwarding all the scenes with the blonde girl, her dad, and her boyfriend.
The first episode of this news season was fantastic. Everything is working for me. I like the new characters. I like who they brought back. There were a lot of laugh out loud moments for me.
The new killer is interesting. This green devil looks much better than the red devil. I love the touch of the fluorescent green slime leaving their footprints all over.
I can't imagine #5 is dead, though it would amuse me if she's been given some scar (and ear chopped off or something) that she has to endure for the rest of the season.
This got off to a great start. I'm really looking forward to next week's show.

I only watched last season here or there but I really liked the eps I did catch. So glad to see it back for season 2 where I can catch a new story from the start.
Interesting jump to the hospital. You figure if the writers can make it work the show can just keep jumping to a new place every season. Summer camp, amusement park, mall, air port, law office or whatever.

Good start. Chanel #1 were as obnoxious and bitchy as ever. The hospital setting could be fun.
Wow, did they really just kill off Abigail Breslin's Chanel #5?
Loved Stamos and Lautner in their roles.

Gave it a shot and enjoyed the first episode far more than I thought I would. Love the addition of Stamos.
I thought Skyler Samuels was one of the best parts of last season. If they were going to lose anybody it should have been Niecy Nash. So stupid. Such a terrible fit for the show.

Damn good first episode. Good to see Jerry O'Connell in the beginning.
I would not be mad if they did away with Chanel #5. She's tubby and nowhere near hot enough to be part of the Chanels. I laughed for a while after the Chanel 5 puking at the sight of a clogged shower drain, though.
Also, great to see Emma Roberts in her undies.
I also like that Chanel #3's day job was that of a jizz mopper at a sperm bank. She loved it, too.
I'm pissed that there's no Chad Radwell yet. #teamchad

I loved the first season, but this one seemed a little off. I get it has to reboot to a new locale, new characters, etc, but the humor/dialogue didn't seem as relentlessly bizarre.
Still, jizz mopper was comedy gold.
I'm still in for the season....

About as over the top as I expected. Thoughts on if they actually killed #5?

She was noticeably missing from the previews - but that is to be expected, given the ending.Originally Posted by Noonan

The 'Scream Queens' entry on IMDB.com seems to indicate the answer, though that could be wrong.

I really hope Chad shows up for this season. He was easily the best part of last season.

Interesting start, but drop the first and last 5 minutes from this episode and you could easily forget this was a horror-based show. I'm also not sure how this will work without Grace in the mix. In S1 she was sort of the voice of reason, the one grounded normal person among all the batshit crazies and over-the-top cretins. With her out of the picture, who is going to be the one we are supposed to hypothetically root for? I guess Zayday is the closest thing to a normal human being, but even she is a bit off herself. More importantly, I thought she was one of the weakest characters from S1 in that she seemed to constantly shift to whatever that storyline needed her to be.

I doubt it. Despite some thinking she's tubby ( Originally Posted by Noonan

) many others find her just as great as the other two Chanels.
