Robbie Amell just posted this on Facebook. Most shows have started production for the Fall now. I guess he's back for now.

You're barking up the wrong tree here. I was pushing for a black Spider-man in the MCU a few months back in the Spidey thread. I'm not a comic nerd so changing a character's ethnicity doesn't bother me in the least. I think the only one I'd have a tough time wrapping my brain around would be Superman since he's the oldest and most iconic. Anyone else (Batman, Spidey, Prof. X, Joker, etc.), I say go for it, especially characters whom we've already had multiple actors play already.New 52 Wally West just has an ugly ass costume.

Joker as a black man wouldn't go over too well. He would be a black man who falls into a vat of acid which turns him white...Originally Posted by Michael Corvin

But is white-face even racist? I'd think not.

While the showrunner has tagged the show as deceased and fans continue to rally behind unlikely digital platforms to rescue it, NBC's Constantine might not be forgotten even if it really is gone.
That's becasue according to Arrow executive producer Wendy Mericle told IGN that she's optimistic that Matt Ryan's version of John Constantine could still make his way to The CW.
"Yeah, we really want to do it," Mericle said. "It's something we've been talking to DC about and it's just a question of some political things, but also the actor's schedule. We're trying to work it out, but we don't know 100 percent if it's going to happen."
Originally, discussions about Constantine making an Arrow cameo centered on the mystic being an entry point into the supernatural side of the DC Universe for Oliver Queen. Now, he's already seen some strange stuff -- including a functionining Lazarus Pit that resurrected his sister from the dead -- but with Damien Darhk as the next big villain, IGN speculates there might be even more for the now-Green Arrow to learn.
Meanwhile, ComicBook.com has heard rumblings of a new player hoping to woo Warner Bros. Television and production partners into a second season for Constantine -- but it seems like a real long shot considering that all the expired contracts would now have to be reworked in order to get the original staff and cast back.

I am always ready to make a cameo, producers of Arrow. I am an unofficial member of the Justice League and I've been to the Batcave. I can even talk Tala into making an appearance.

When they first started teasing Ted Kord, I was kinda hoping it would be Mike Holt instead.

Grodd FX reel demo. Basically it shows how Grodd made it to the "small screen". Pretty amazing what they can do with small budget CG these days.

Two tib-bits for the upcoming season.
Jimmy Akingbola to play Baron Blitzkrieg.
In the comics he plied his trade for the NAZIs during WW2 fighting 1st Wonder Womand and then
the All-Star Squadron.
Interesting casting. Don't recall many Black People joining the NAZI Party back then.

White Canary returns.

HEY Phantom Stranger, I would like to see you make an appearance on ARROW.
Tannarak would also be a choice foe for you.

Called it!
Damn, someone from CW/Arrow must be reading DVDTalk because I recommended Mr Terrific make an appearance on the show over The Atom last season.
Do I get a consultant fee or something?

Oliver only kept it anyway because Black Canary liked it. It will be interesting to see if they start moving towards that relationship this season.Originally Posted by Giantrobo
