Sometimes I'm embarrassed for him. Sometimes I have great sympathy for him. Sometimes I'm astonished by how big of a mean streak he has. He was all over the place, yet it never seemed like the writers were making contrivances. All of that was Hank, and Jeffery Tambor played him perfectly.

G'Kar, from Babylon 5.



The character arc for him is stunning. Andreas Katsulas' performances in the role were relevatory. The character goes from a brash, loud, aggressive, angry warrior to an introspective, caring, philosophical deep thinker and religious leader who has learned from his mistakes - and nothing about the character arc feels fake or forced. The seeds for his englightenment are shown early on, even if they were disguised as seemingly throwaway lines here and there. Absolutely brilliant writing and acting make G'Kar the best character ever on TV and my personal favorite.
