Science fiction and Netflix, plus 2 leads I like Toby Stephens and Molly Parker, so sure I'll check this out.

Although not sure if I will be able to binge it right away. I still haven't started the 2nd season of Stranger Things yet.

Chiming in as one who LOVED Lost in Space when it originally aired (until the carrot episode ). The movie didn't impress me, but kept enough elements to seem familiar enough to the TV show. I'll keep an open mind about this since I've liked a number of other Netflix shows, but if it's Lost in Space in name only, then meh.

Having rewatched LIS recently on BD, one thing that really stood out as stupid was all the props.
The robot would be dressed in a poncho and Mexican hat, playing a uke. All kinds of crazy stuff, like they had an industrial size replicator on the ship.

Trailer didn’t do much for me other than convey that the kid playing Will Robinson is going to be terrible.

Looking forward to the effort though! Somebody asked why this needed to be rebooted again after an old corny series and a terrible movie ... the best reboots should be good concepts that were previously executed poorly.

Somebody else asked about the ethnicity of the parents and the daughter ... well, that’s why the family volunteered for this mission. The parents are “working on their marriage” after some, uh, “troubles” and thought getting away for a fresh start would help. That also gives a female Dr. Smith an interesting angle. Particularly one that looks like Parker Posey.

I will agree the movie was terrible but Heather Graham, Mimi Rogers and Lacey Chabert were all easy on the eye and sort of crush worthy then and now....

She is even hotter as she ages. Or maybe it’s me getting older.

A friend brought to my attention that the 2004 unsold pilot for "The Robinsons - Lost In Space" is on you.tube in 5 parts. It's directed by John Woo and stars Brad Johnson, Jayne Brooke, and Adrienne Palicki. Apparently, it's been on there for a few years, but I just wasn't aware of it.

Looks good upon initial impression. This must have take long time to produce. Looks like a ton of special effects and CG. Probably one of Netflix’s most ambitious shows. Yeah I’m game for this.

Nice...looks good even watching on mute. Also psyched it comes out in a bit over a month from now. I feel this science fiction series will an easier watch than Altered Carbon which I am struggling to muster up the energy to finish the final thee episodes (at least I hope I only have 3 left to go). I feel like AC is offering diminishing returns on the back half of the season but a few of the earlier episodes were aces.

Around the same age. I wasn’t real familiar with her younger years, I know her more from my wife watching Hallmark movies.

This really looks good, like way better than it has any right to be.

I agree... I'm not thrilled it'll have two kids in it but the backdrop looks top notch and it appears to keep the action coming non-stop. I'm in.

Saw a trailer before Ready Player One and I just read a non-spoiler review at TV Line that gave it a B+. I continue to be excited that it will be out soon enough, well not this weekend but on Friday the 13th.

Ouch! EW gave it a D+.
