We get HBO, but only because the "retention specialist" threw it in for "free" the last time I called to bitch about the cable bill. If it should disappear (because the promo price ended), then I'll just use some alternate method (Prime Video, I guess) to watch.

I have them all (other than Epix which my provider doesn't offer) but only because I work for a cable company. If I didn't work where I do I probably would have HBO Now for the back catalog alone. I watch some movies on HBO occasionally and I think they're the most worthwhile premium overall.

EPIX streaming channel has thousand's of movies.

I use my parents HBO GO. I have a Hulu subscription as well which gives me Showtime shows.

I've never had premium cable so I've always just rented or purchased movies. I didn't realize it was a viable way to watch newish movies until I tried HBO Now. Currently I subscribe to that for GOT, but I've also started watching John Oliver and Bill Simmons, though I probably won't keep paying just for them. I thought about subscribing to Cinemax for Banshee and Strike Back, but didn't want to go through the cable hassle, and now they're over. So I've just purchased them, along with Masters of Sex, Homeland, The Affair, Outlander, etc.
