"khaleesi, I've done it, I've found the cure for the greyscale!"
"Bring forth the maester that cleansed you of this affliction that I may bestow upon him the riches he has earned"
"No, my queen, it was I! I have severed the wretched arm and stopped the spread!"
"What good to me is a knight with one arm and possible infecundity? I banish you!"
"But..."
"Go"

Just catching up, now just a few episodes behind
Hodor's death might be one of the best done and impactful deaths in TV history
I don't read the books, i don't analyze the show too closely, i know what's going on but i don't know the indepth history of every character from every season, only ever seen each episode once
This death of Hodor and how it was executed hit me like a sledgehammer
Absolutely masterful

In preparation for the new (final) season, I've been rewatching the series - and just got to this episode. Even knowing what happens - and perhaps because I know what happens - I was overwhelmed by Hodor's death. I remember being affected the first time, and didn't expect to have much reaction now, but it was all too powerful. As Original Desmond said above, Absolutely masterful.

This Episode was definitely powerful.
I'm on the last Episode of Season 6, with plans to make my way through Season 7 by the end of the week. Getting back into the Series after some time away reminded me of how stressful & absolutely exhilarating this show is.
