Re: The Unit question

I disliked Molly as well. Mostly because it seemd like she thought she was "in charge" of the wives, simnply because her husband was in charge of the team. Kim grew on me, and I sort of dug Tiffy. She was sort of like a Sarah Jessica Parker type. Sometimes I found her immensely attractive, sometimes I found her not so much. I agree that alot of the wife stuff brings the action to a creeching halt. But I did like that they were showing what was going on on the homefront while the guys were away. Too many shows or movies of this type, simply focus on the mission stuff. What set the Unit apart was they focused on the family dynamic as well.

If I was flipping through the dial and saw a re-run of this, I might watch if it was the old theme, but I'd skip it if it were the newer theme.
Quality of show aside, they really fucked up changing the theme. The original was phenomenal and one of the more unique ones on tv.

Re: The Unit question

just finished season 3, some terrible episodes especially the last one

That was the writers strike year, they were obviously phoning it in

Let's hope Season 4, the last one is better

Re: The Unit question

IIRC, season 4 was great, which made cancellation even tougher to swallow.

Yes season 3 was cut short because the strike. I think they only filmed 11 episodes. I didn't think it was terrible. It just ended abruptly.

That was the season that Hector was killed off. Thought that was a pretty big revelation in the show.

The final episode of Season 2 is so great. It aired within a week or so of the final episode of Lost S2. A very good week for TV.

That was, in my opinion, the biggest revelation of the shows run. The mission where it happened, then the aftermath. That's where the show really showed it's heart. Between the guys doing their jobs and finishing the mission, to finishing the new mission that was bringing Hector home, was pretty great.
