I don't think that I'd call it dropping Smackdown. It's the same family of networks, and my guess is that WWE would rather be on USA anyway.

Going from SyFy to USA is a huge promotion, not a demotion.

I think the point was that this was already being discussed in the sports forum. Although you could certainly argue about whether staged wrestling is really sports or not. That's why it's sometimes called sports-entertainment (to differentiate it from regular sports, which are also entertainment).

I know Vince mcmahon can't be held personally responsible but he has helped build this regime of performing year round which forces wrestlers to get addicted to painkillers , roids for the look and other drugs

When someone like the godfather gets inducted to the Hall of Fame, it's because better wrestlers haven't survived and went out of this life in a disgraceful manner that they couldn't be considered for the hall of game. Chris Benoit being the most glaring example
