Wasn't wrestling a TV show? At least I remember seeing it on a screen in my living room. Might have been a television, but with your question, now I can't be sure.

Local girl, born here in Rochester. Was apparently bullied a lot as a kid. Her nickname in school was pig-face. Hate to see anyone die young like that when they have so much life in front of them, while those poor old people at the nursing home wish they could go and all they do is linger. Life isn't fair.

I didn't know she was born so close. I live on the other side of Buffalo. You're right life isn't fair.

When did SYFY drop Smackdown?

Now I see it is on the USA Network.

It moved to USA at the start of this year

I don't think that I'd call it dropping Smackdown. It's the same family of networks, and my guess is that WWE would rather be on USA anyway.

Going from SyFy to USA is a huge promotion, not a demotion.

I think the point was that this was already being discussed in the sports forum. Although you could certainly argue about whether staged wrestling is really sports or not. That's why it's sometimes called sports-entertainment (to differentiate it from regular sports, which are also entertainment).

Wait until they release the cause of death is OD, then all of the sudden life is actually pretty fair. You reap what you sow.

Yeah look at how many wrestlers have died young in the last few decades

I know Vince mcmahon can't be held personally responsible but he has helped build this regime of performing year round which forces wrestlers to get addicted to painkillers , roids for the look and other drugs

When someone like the godfather gets inducted to the Hall of Fame, it's because better wrestlers haven't survived and went out of this life in a disgraceful manner that they couldn't be considered for the hall of game. Chris Benoit being the most glaring example

She was going to come to my local Comic-Con in a few weeks.

Funny. I searched and nothing came up for Chyna and I don't go into the sports forum. WWE is on TV so...I posted it here. I was going to post it in Other. I figured if I missed it in the search they would just merge it to Other anyway.

If pro wrestling belongs in the Sports subforum, so do Survivor and The Amazing Race.
