Thought the opening episode was pretty funny. Natalie Zea's character wasn't given much to do but the son cracks me up.

One of the few shows where both children (the characters and the actors) are as funny as anyone else on the show. Rare feat, that.

“None of that ‘spit on it and stick it in’ shit”

I was wondering if Zea’s husband was ever going to make an appearance. Dudemeister!

Natalie Zea on the stripper pole. And in a thong! Yes please! That whole strip club sequence was fucking awesome.

The first episode was great.

When they are trying to stay warm and Son has the erection and she says “should we make it go away?”
Holy Mackeral.

The strip club scene was hysterical.

They never showed Natalie's face in the thong shot. My guess it's one of the other two actresses:

Re: The Detour (TBS) -- Series Thread -- S: Natalie Zea, Jason Jones

I got off to a late start with this season and just binged the entire season (that has aired so far) last night.

The episodes with the twin sister BJ were hilarious and awesome. I must have not been paying full attention, but I remember Natalie Zea doing the crazy poll dancing and breaking shit, but I don't recall a thong shot or whale tail?

The Japanese game show episodes was hilarious. I love how this season for some weird reason has turned into a globe trotting season.

I'm OK with it. First season is a gem, and some really hilarious moments since, but not enough.

I thought the first season was a weakest of the 4, by far.
Second season, however, was GOAT!

I haven't finished season 4 yet but I was hoping they'd tie everything when they ended it. While nothing has hit the heights of season 1, it's still been a fun ride.

I think the cast and showrunners knew going in that this would be the show's last season. I felt this last season was probably the laziest written one.

Not surprised it was cancelled. As this season went on it went from being OK to not funny at all.
