Not sure about that. It seems like that might be a bit too perfect of an ending and a bit cliché. Not sure I see Gilligan and company going with something like that. I wouldn't mind if it's revealed that he moved to Omaha looking for her and possibly reconsiles/gets together with her. Although to be honest I'm a bit skeptical that the Omaha reveal by Kim even means anything. It seems almost a bit too deliberate of a hint to mean anything. Maybe he moves there hoping to find her but she's nowhere to be found or he finds someone from her family and he's told that she's living somewhere else and married or whatever.

If you're not listening to the "Better Call Saul Insider" podcast, you should be. It's a wealth of information and they talk about all aspects of the show (writing, acting, editing, production design, directing, etc). A tidbit from this week's episode: the opening "teaser" in the convenience store was actually shot for season one, but had to be cut for time...but they knew they still wanted to use it so they brought it forward to here.

Curious if that cocobolo desk ends up being Saul Goodman's desk in Breaking Bad? I'm thinking that's a different desk though.

I am loving this season so far. Loved the montage of Jimmy screwing up at Davis and Main.
I was thinking Mike was scoping the taco shop because he didn't actually do what they told him. Hector told him to say the gun was his. That would have been much less suspicious than him saying he didn't know whose it was.
Does anyone else think Mike might be the one to cripple Hector?

I just assumed Hector's condition was due to a stroke, or something.

That's why she wanted independence work wise though. It seems like a part of her likes the thrill of the scam, hence calling Jimmy just because she met a gullible guy. I wonder if we'll see something go horribly wrong.

By working in the same office with him she is still linked to him. I'm certain Jimmy will do something that will get her into trouble.

I did too. But they could have made the Salamanca cartel a threat without showing him before whatever befell him. The fact that they're showing him pre-accident makes me wonder if it will be because of something/someone on BCS.

Well, they've said they're making up BCS as they go along, so I'm sure they've considered all the different ways to approach it, and I'm sure they'll go with the most entertaining option, which could be that Mike did something to him without Hector ever finding out.

I'm enjoying this season. I don't think this show is anywhere close to Breaking Bad levels of greatness. But it's a good show and I love the BB characters that have been brought back.
I can't imagine the excitement when they get Walter White or Pinkman on the show, but I'm sure it will be a very small role.
Can't believe there are just 3 episodes of this season left. I really wish we'd get 12 or 13 episodes like Breaking Bad instead of just 10.

They'll have to just be walking by in the background or something, since Walt and Jesse never met Saul before Breaking Bad.
Unless there's some Smallville level of amnesia involved.

I thought so immediately when Mike was taking position outside the taco joint
but .... it would have had to taken place after the flashback scene from Hermonos (BB) where Hector is shown shooting Gus' partner Max at the pool
Hector does appear older in BCS than he did in that flashback so the timeline could work ... they could even work in Gus directing/aiding with the hit but we still haven't met him yet in BCS

I think Gus is a surprise cameo this year,

yep great episode
This series had a starting point and has a finite ending. I hope they don't drag things out just because it is doing well. They need to tell the story with as high quality as possible.
I still think there is room for a 'Further adventures of Jesse Pinkman" sequel to Breaking Bad

After all that's happened to him and those he cared about, he's out of the criminal life. There's no going back for him. Plus the APD will be watching him like a hawk anyway.
Jesse will be trying to get his life in order - the straight and narrow path. I can't believe fans of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul would find much entertainment in following Jesse as he tries to hold down a regular job and live a normal life.

I get the feeling we will see the creation of Saul this season but after he is established a bit they will jump ahead in time a few years
