The season premiere is Friday, Feb. 12 and this time the contestants are all Socially Savvy Racers! Not only that, but they claim a combined 88+ million social media followers! (Oh, please don't let this gimmick suck!)

The jist of the game: For an entry fee of just $3, everyone chooses a team to latch onto before the start of the season. If that team ends up winning race, then YOU will win a $33 Amazon.com gift certificate. 100% of the entry fees will go to the prize fund.

We will be using the First-to-Post selection method for the draft. You may post 1 and only 1 team during the draft. This is strictly first-come-first-serve. Anybody posting a list will only have rights to the first team in the post. If they have already been taken, you will need to post again.

This season we will start with one draft on Tuesday Feb. 9 and if there is sufficient demand for another round, a second draft will be held Thursday Feb. 11. The winner(s) will receive $33 Amazon Gift Certificates.

The first draft will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 9:00 PM EST (6 PM Pacific) and the 2nd draft (if needed) will be held on Thursday Feb. 11 at 9 PM EST (6 PM Pacific). The DVDTalk timestamp of your post determines validity. If you are too early, you will need to post again.

Bopper Rule: If for whatever reason, an announced contestant that you drafted is replaced by a substitute during the show, you will get the substitute in place of your original pick.

Please do not edit or delete posts during the draft, if your pick has already been taken or you were too early, you will need to post again. Screen captures will be taken during the draft and violations of this rule will result in your pick being revoked and you will be given the last unclaimed team in the draft as a penalty. (AKA the Quack play).

After the draft sells out, there will be a waiting list for the second draft. Once that list reaches 5, then the 2nd draft will be on.

All payments must be made via PayPal by 3 AM EST Tuesday Feb. 9 for Tuesday's draft and Thursday Feb. 11 by 3 AM EST for Thursday's draft (if needed). If you haven't paid by then, your spot may be released to another player.

Please, please, please! Include your DVDTalk screen name along with "Amazing Race Game" in a comment with your PayPal payment! This is necessary so that I can match people up with their payments. Also, please use the Personal Gift option as this will avoid seller fees.

If the contest doesn't sell out and an unclaimed team wins, the prize will go to whoever has the highest finisher.

Yes, the season premiere is earlier this season (Feb. 12), so I had to get the thread started in January.

Not only that, but I wasn't able to sell out the second draft last fall, so I am allowing more time and I'm sending invitations via PM to everyone that participated in the last 3 seasons.

I have mixed feelings about this social media gimmick. I don't exactly live under a rock, but I can honestly say I've never heard of any of these people!

Obviously I'm not amongst the 88 million they claim!

I'll probably choose the group that my little sister is into.

I'm not anticipating this season too much based on the promo from last year, but I'm trying to stay optimistic that it'll be a good season.

I only know the frisbee guys and thats because they showed up on one of the Dude Perfect (the guys that do all those trick shots) videos.

OK, so I watched all of their audtion videos and I spent some time checking out their social media activities and I'm starting to get a better feeling about this season.

I don't want to say too much because now I know I want to draft, but there is a wide range of talent here from comedy to dancing, stunts, frisbees, and consuming mass quantities of chicken McNuggets!
