Gotta figure the clapping hands at the end of the trailer belong to Kilgrave, right?
I started The Defenders last night to make sure I'm caught up with all the Marvel Netflix series before this season premieres.

I stuck it out, but it wasn't fun.
However, she shined in The Defenders.
In fact, I felt she carried the show.
I hope this will be the "new" JJ we will be seeing in S2.

I just finished this Season today and I have to say that this and Daredevil season 1 are easily the best Marvel first seasons of any of their shows and blow ALL of the Disney + shows away.
I have recently gone through and caught up with the D+ shows and decided to watch the Netflix shows since I never saw them. Wow...what a breath of fresh air so far. Gritty but not humorless. Funny at times but not dumb or obnoxious humor. Dark but still gives spots of hope. And damn brutal in most of the violence versus the 1950's Western TV show violence you get in the D+ shows. The casting is inspired and the acting is well done. The Big Bads are fascinating, and the main characters are interesting. Compelling story arcs even for the side characters and usually believable situations. It is seriously night and day.
The BIG Bad in JJ was probably one of the best of all time on shows like these and it reminded me of how good Buffy was when the Big Bad carried a season. Loving all this so far. Hate it has gone downhill so quickly for Marvel after seeing the quality in these two shows.
On to DD Season 2!

Yeah, Tennant was great. Really, the whole thing was excellent, as were most of the Netflix Marvel shows. The Punisher, fittingly, was probably the most brutal.

I hated so much, that they never came up with the idea of headphones, before the last episode. The show was just so stupid and JJ is the worst detective ever. She was just a violent bully. I never bothered to watch the last season. For me JJ was even worse than Iron Fist and that was terrible.

Loki and Hawkeye wish they were half as good or interesting as the first seasons of DD & JJ. But hey, to each their own.
