Yeah, I sort of figured they were either 1) watching Alexandria and attacked when a lot of people left, or 2) Enid tipped them off that a lot of the heavy hitters were going to be beyond the walls and that would be a good time to strike.

I filled out that keepAMC form just to see where they would send the message. Today I got this response from Adams Cable. I actually have Service Electric but Adams is fairly close. Sounds like AMC is raising their asking price again this year and this is not only related to DirectTV.

As AMC uses scare tactics to involve our customers in our contract renewal process, please know that we are currently negotiating in good faith and will continue to do so. A they demand more money each month from all cable operators such as Adams, we will do everything that we can to avoid the removal of AMC from our channel lineup.
