This one intrigues me. The previews suggest it might be something new, fresh and hilarious, and a musical to boot.
Or, it'll go down in flames.

I liked it, and I'm not at all into musicals, but even the music numbers were funny, especially the one with her getting ready to go out. I'll stick with it for now.
(I mostly watched it because Rachel Bloom is a friend of a friend, so I'm glad it turned out good)

This show is fantastic. Episode #2 had me rolling during the girl crush song.
I also had a big laugh when the assistant told the boss that Luna bars are for women because they have "menstrual blood" in them. (I always get after my husband for eating my Luna bars.)

I wanted to watch it... but am already recording 2 shows in that slot. I'll probably check out during the winter break on demand or something.

The lead plays Rebecca perfectly. Somehow she's an incredibly likable psycho. But man, is she psycho.

P.S. I also really like how they've started to weave aspects of her psychosis into other characters, such as her new best friend who's projecting a codependent mother/daughter relationship with Rebecca. This show may become a playground of the most unhealthy neuroses on TV.
P.S.S. So You Think You Can Dance fans may have noticed Alex Wong as one of the dancers in the yoga studio!

Oh man, this show is not doing well in the rating, and at a 0.1, it looks like it might be on the chopping block to be canceled very soon. Such a bummer!

That's why I haven't bothered with it since the original episode. I don't have the 42 or so with time skipping minutes to give to this and would rather only have 20 something minutes to commit to it. The pilot also really felt like it dragged on because of the fact that it's being stretched to fit more time than it really actually needs to fill.

I can't help thinking they made a mistake not sticking with Showtime. They could have had a tight 25 minutes, fewer eps (since this is kind of limited concept unless they have a twist in mind), and a better chance of surviving. I really enjoy the show (though I agree the individual eps feel about a quarter too long), but this is clearly a "niche" show.

Rebecca is going further off the deep end. Last week I couldn't believe the had her sleep with another guy...and then this week with the framed money-in-a-duffel-bag.
Somehow they still make her lovable.
I was a bit concerned they were having her get Josh's attention too soon, but it worked. I've come to start enjoying the song breaks as they're hilarious takes every time. But you're right, DWilson, definitely a niche show.

I've watched the first three episodes so far, and I am really enjoying it. I loved the little payoff to all of the vampire weekend discussion.

Can't believe this show is on winter hiatus already.
This last episode is the only one that seemed weak to me. Rebecca's mother was such a strong character, she outshined Rebecca, and the two sub-stories were incredibly weak leading up to an all-cast song that seemed out of place for the show.
That said, I still love this one. Discovered Rachel Bloom (Rebecca) has several albums of funny songs on Spotify so that'll hold me over until the Spring!

45 minutes into the episode when they finally showed a title card for the show. Is that a new record?
