There's still a lot of material to cover so they could probably do several movies if they wanted.
Dreymon aging shouldn't be a factor

I just wrapped up season 4 and it was a badass show. Can't wait for the film, but since they're gonna start filming in 2022, I won't expect it to be released until 2023.

Was disappointed they were ending the series before adapting all of it, but doing the movie gives me a little hope.

Ugh, season 4 is not even available yet in my region. So much for being a "Netflix Original".

I just binged all 5 seasons of this and I liked it a lot. Overall I like it a tad better than Vikings because it's more consistently good. My only beefs are two crappy characters (Skade, and Stiorra) and Uthred's terribe narration. I'd give it ***1/2 out of *****. I will certainly watch the movie!

Just finished the film it was just an ok finale. It seemed like it was in a hurry to wrap up. It's also in 4K DV/5.1 but plays back in 50Hz, so you may get that fast motion like HFR in there. I watched it via my APTV4K, but was too lazy to switch the setting. If you want closure then watch it, but I think it should have been a full season at the very least.

I finally got a chance to watch the movie and I thought the same, it was fine. The final book in the series felt rushed as well. It looked like they at least tried to age Dreymon up somewhat (Uhtred is in his 60s at this point in the book.)
I saw the other day MGM+ is adapting Cornwell's "Warlord Chronicles" into a TV series called The Winter King that starts on Aug 20th. It's Cornwell's version of King Arthur. The series is just as good as "The Saxon Tales" so I will check it out
