Episode 2 was just as weird and frenetic, but not as creepy (the stalker segment was replaced by following someone who asked to be on the show), and not as far out (the outdoor challenge was replaced by an in-studio thing). Alec Baldwin hosted, Bonnie Tyler did the song, Seth Myers did the challenge, Nicole Scherzinger was still there, and Harris showed more of his talent with a gymnastics/trampoline thing.
So I think they heard the criticism and responded to it, or maybe they just didn't care and they wanted to do things differently anyway. I might watch another episode if there's nothing else on and I happen to think of it, which is how I watched it last night.
